I LOVE this place!!! Great Family atmosphere! The ownership is amazing! I work with the special needs population and the level of service we receive when we go there is outstanding! Whenever i take people there they have a blast and cant wait to go back! I have since started taking my own family there. I cannot say enough about how much i appreciate companies like southside bowling that play a huge part in improving our community, not just with an excellent product but also with kindness and genuine caring customer service from every staff member i have encountered.

I didnt have problems with customer service at the bowling alley. I had issues with the No Tap Bowling Tournament. If youre not from that area, theyre quick to disqualify you if you cash no matter the amount and quick to take your money when you dont. This was the worst tournament that I have experienced and I bowl a lot of tournaments. This is a warning for any bowlers outside of the Scranton area.

Amazing This is my "go to" place. I love it there as well as my family. My children both bowl on the jr. duck pin and 10 pin leagues. They have a blast. Every employee has basically became just like family. Everyone has always been very professional and kind. I have always recommend southside and I will continue to do so. Keep up the great work my southside friends, we love ya all!

Dated, but found it neat they have both duck pin and regular format bowling. Went for a birthday party so Im not sure of the prices, but it was busy and the kids all had a lot of fun. Update, we came back for a second time and this time not only was it closed for public, but when we went in it wreaked of smoke in the whole building. We wont be coming back here again.

Had a wonderful time there. Staff was very helpful, food was good, price was almost half less than three others checked. Had no wait on a cold Saturday night with no reservation! 5 Yr old grandaughter could operate automated scoring. May not be as modern as some, but the price made up for it. Did not smell as other reviewers note, no smoking inside.

Frames and Gains

This place has been around a long time, Its definitely not up to date in the whole entertainment section and technology, but it does give you that old school vibe. Gets packed on the weekends so get there early and there seems to be a bit of leagues that always dominate the lanes.

I bowl here 3 nights a week in duck pin leagues. The service behind the counter is always nice and friendly and the prices to bowl are reasonable. The food could be better and I think its time to spend some money on upgrading the duck pin lanes and there intercoms.

We had so much fun bowling! However, the woman with the long grey ponytail at the counter was literally wearing only socks around, was on her cell phone, and was very impatient and rude to everyone.

Really bad customer service and there was no lanes open the place seem to small jist really didnt like the place would not recommend this bowling alley.

Was crap, couldnt get a lane and service was terrible, and the screens were like old ps2 graphics , lanes looked old and messed up as well.

Tried to bowl but they had no open bowling for the entire day. It reeked of cigarette smoke and seemed pretty dingy.

A bit expensive if you ask me. Lots of fun though. $9.25 for a small pitcher of beer. $100 for two hours of bowling.

Terrible customer service, not very many lanes, dark and dirty, a little pricy, had a hard time getting a lane.
