Its closed for renovations in 2017, but on our previous visit, it was very interesting to learn about not only what a woman was able to accomplish in her day and age, but of how the American Red Cross of today came into existence, or that the basic First Aid kit was probably planned out and packed right here! And for those of us who volunteer for the ARC, its just that much more meaningful to visit!

Excellent Tour. Our Group learned so much about Clara Barton. The Female Ranger on Duty was absolutely Excellent. She answered all of our questions with much knowledge. Great History Lesson. And it was FREE. Imagine that something for Free yet and you learn something too. Would recommend to any age group.

This is such an amazing historical site. The Home and Office of Clara Barton after the Civil War. Such a great thing that they have managed to preserve the entire facility as it was when Barton lived here.
