A great place that Im really beginning to appreciate. They have an eclectic range of events form poetry readings and indie shows to documentaries and science fiction panels. Its a cozy sort of cave that works well as a concert hall or an audience-style lecture room. Id only offer criticism on their drinks, both in size and price. $6 for half of a glass makes it an appropriate place to bring a hip flask. Or just drink before you get there. Overall, I hope to hit this spot more in the future.

they have things happening here that are fun/enjoyable/nice. the hipster inner circle of pals can be rude or obnoxious at times. if youre trying to get a beer you better be one of their buddies or else youll be looked at with an expression that says "yeah.......sooooo what do you want? im talking to my pals here". good off-beat shows and events and what not though. sometimes very interesting art exhibits too!

Really cool little gallery. I came here for a show and it was a really intimate experience with a bunch of like-minded people. Pretty cool selection of craft beers and ciders at the bar. Not cheap but I didnt mind supporting the venue since the event tickets were so cheap. Great to see they had gender-neutral bathrooms too!

Space Gallery makes it work as a venue for so many different mediums. Ive seen some all-time favorite indie-rock performances here, poetry readings, documentary + discussions, dance parties, art exhibits and more. Probably my favorite venue in Portland.
