Terrible experience. Property was poorly maintained, with both the parking lot and fairways strewn with cigarette butts. When we complained, we got an earful from an extemely defense and visibly angry pro shop clerk/attendant. During our 9 holes, we were also subject to two lawn mowers always on our hole, cutting grass right on the fairway as we were playing. When we complained to the operators they offered to skip a hole ahead to put some distance between us and the racket they were causing. But we soon caught up with them, and ended our nine holes amidst the noisy din of high powered lawn mowers. Complaining to the pro shop attendant (who inquired how our round went) proved to be another bad experience. She got defensive and angry even before I finished explaining our experience, and repeatedly offered the excuse that "they had had 209 golfers for the day.." and that they were too busy to take care of maintenance. While this explanation didnt make any sense whatsoever (imagine a restaurant giving this excuse when a patron complains about the service or the food), I emphasized to her how distracting the lawn mowers were. She continued to repeat herself, going on and on about the crowd (which we never witnessed btw), but when my girlfriend pointed out that there were no golfers imemdiately in front of us or behind us (it was well past 5 PM when we commenced play), and that they could simply have avoided mowing so close to us, the golf course employee/attendant asked us why we hadnt immediately rushed back to the pro shop and complained, adding that she saw us taking extra shots at the tee. Not only was this impracticable (to abnandon ones game during twilight) her suggestion came across as laced with anger and impatience, hardly the hallmarks of good customer service. Her comment/allegation about us taking multiple tee shots was completely irrelevant and unwarranted which further confirmed to us that she was angry with us for daring to complain about the racket a pair of industrial strength lawn mowers had caused during our game. If she had thought about it, perhaps it was the ruckus from the lawnmowers that had made it impossible for us to get a good stroke in, hence the need to repeat a stroke or two. But she didnt appear capable of grasping the irony in her own sputtering retort and I didnt bother pointing out how ridiculous she sounded. Besides, it was shocking to realize that she would have had the ability to man the desk and yet spy on us! We hadnt been made aware of such an invasion of privacy, nor had we consented to any videotaping during our time on the property. Not sure if she was simply bluffing in order to stubbornly push back. It is quite a shameless tactic if that had been the case. Eventually, she gave us a rain check but not before rudely thrusting it towards me, cutting me off in mid sentence, and accusing me of "trying to get some money back". I was flabbergasted and all I could say was "whatever happened to the old dictum that the customer is always right?". Overall, we didnt feel welcome there, given the callous and rude customer service and the shabby conditions. Save yourself a drive to Nowhere, KY and stay closer to Cincinnati if you want to golf. Not worth the hassle and the poor experience. And I would suggest management speak with the person that was at the pro shop (around 5PM on July 10, 2016) and emphasize the importance of customer service to her.

Showed up after work around 6:15pm to play a quick 9 and when I asked the guy upfront if he thought I could finish he said "probably, but Im locking the gates at 8:30 whether your out or not." Meaning my car would be stuck overnight and I would have to have someone come pick me up. Sunset today was 8:27, glad he was willing to give me 3 minutes to get from the course to my car and out. I understand that they cant stay around forever, but he was being totally ridiculous.

grounds were great & green, beautiful. Rough was pretty high so ball is easily lost if you hit in it. Would have been nice if a Marshall would have been driving around to keep a foursome in front of us from yelling to each other, turning their radio down (yeah, they had a radio playing), & cursing profusely after every shot

Club house people were less than friendly, the grounds/cart paths/parking area needs some maintenance and not sure it was worth $49. The course itself wasnt in too bad of shape. The employees have the typical "government employee attitude" (could care less)...

Maintenance on this course was pitiful at best. Ranger spent more time staring then improving the course or rate of play. For $49 (18 w/cart) def not worth it. They brag about the 4 1/2 star rating but it must be on a scale of 10.

This is a favorite for a group of us guys on our way down to Lexington. Lots of fun and a real challenge. Great use of the landscape and water. Greens and tee boxes have always been nice early in the year.

The layout of the course is great, very challenging. Youll use every club in your bag. However, last couple of times I went, maintenance had been lacking. Its a must-play at least once.

Nice. But grounds were not justify $50. Ive played many courses in the area and around the country and Ill go somewhere else next time... and I live 5 minutes away!!

Layout is nice and the greens were smooth and fast. Plus the ball is above your feet on a lot of the tees if your right handed, which I prefer.

Our group of eight enjoyed a very good round. The weather was very hot but the course was very well maintained.
