Ill be honest. When you see it from the road all I could personally think was tourist trap. However, I decided to go in with no opinion and see if it impressed. I have two kids so we could see how well they judged it as well. I can tell you now, it was definitely worth it. The way they lay out the dinosaurs in a woodland habitat really makes it nice. Plus Im the trees is cooler. They have plaques informing about each dinosaur and some other facts. Near the entrance there is a big playground that the kids can play on, with plenty of picnic tables. We did not do a dig, due to the rain. The museum for Dinos, maaaay be a little over a very young kids head but its worth it. The gift shop has lots of fun Dino books for kids and adults. Along with normal, stuff animals, plastic toys etc.... All in all, I can say, it was an enjoyable experience. Worth the visit, especially for kids. And never once did I think, "omg this is so tacky", even in the gift shop. And for someone who goes around the world, that takes a lot. Price is fair. And you can spend about 1.5-2.5hrs depending on how long you take to do the walk and how long you let kids play in the playground.

Had a blast here with my two little girls, 2 and 3 years old. The second we pulled up they freaked out in excitement. Heres a list of pros and cons. Pros: 1. Plenty of space for picnicking 2. Large playground area 3. Wooded walking area with tons of large dinosaurs (our favorite part) 4. You get to climb on the huge Trex you can see from the highway 5. Informative museum 6. Neat video area 7. Inexpensive add-ons 8. Clean restrooms 9. Hands on activities Cons: 1. No concessions 2. Park is on the smaller side (we took our time, did all activities and only got three hours or so out of it) 3. Pricier gift shop, but when are gift shops ever cheap? (They each got two items and we grabbed a post card and magnet for all under $25). 4. If youre looking for fancy and animatronics dont bother. This isnt that type of park. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. No, theres no animatronics, but if youre looking for old fashioned family fun this is it. You can save a few bucks by ordering tickets online. Take your time and enjoy it.

We chose to use this as a pit stop on our way back home from Nashville. It was a fun way for the kids to stretch their legs. The path showing the dinosaurs is a decent length, but not too long for little legs. One of the things I liked the most was how they had some of the dinosaurs set up to make it look like they were actually interacting in the forest. There is a lot on site to do, some of which my kids (who are 4 and 2) were probably a little young to appreciate. But then they are still young enough to be wowed by the dinosaur statues. The staff was friendly. I am still undecided about the price. Personally I think itd probably on the high side of what I would consider to be reasonable, but Im still on the fence. You can do everything there in a short amount of time. I feel like you need to slow down and take your time if you want to get your moneys worth. Everyone had a really great time, and thats what matters.

This was actual reason we decided to visit Cave City in the first place, and because it fulfilled our four-year-olds dreams, it was not in vain. Whoever decided to create this concept and engineer the concrete statues for this place was an amazing mind. The little museum was fun for the parents. The Fossil Dig is a must. Do get there early, early in the morning before the place fills up with Boy Scouts and the like to have a more intimate, lazy experience. We went through the park at our own pace and got in for the day got too hot. It was worth it all for our son to be happy. If not for the allure of Dinosaur World, we never would have come to Cave City in the first place and been on the best vacation we have as a family yet!

Super cheesy and WAY overpriced in the gift shop. If your kids are small, they wont mind the cheese-factor, but anyone larger than a toddler probably wont be impressed. Im giving an extra star because of the Fossil Dig for the kids- most younguns and parents will probably appreciate them "panning" for sharks teeth and quartz pieces. Kids can pan, then pick 3 of what they find to take home. Thought there might be some animatronics or something... anything. Nope. The pics are more impressive than real life. We DID love the trees! Some of the pathways would be difficult for people with mobility problems. People with strollers didnt seem to have problems.

Was an amazing place, we did this for a weekend outing. We did not think much of it at first once you start on the walk way to see the Dinos your mind will be blown away! They life size and replica of dinosaurs! Hey have a walk path and you walk buy the replicas that are set up nicely as if they were grazing on the land. Their is many photo opportunities as well! The staff was very friendly, and the it all was very well maintained and clean. The best part would have to be during the last walk out of the park you get you will see a Beautiful scenery of what a Dino filled plain would look like. Amazing trip and worth the money!

Dinosaur World was a very fun way to start the day, with Admission being $12.00, it was worth it. My girlfriend and I went for our first time and believe it would be fun for all ages! The museum lighting could use a little work but had all sorts of interesting facts (Did you know Velociraptors heights ranged from a chicken to an 8 year old? Neither did we!) Some of the statues looked a little off but we thought it was funny. There were no animatronics and the dinosaurs were plastic but still looked cool none the less with informative plaques and beautiful scenery! Very fun for kids and dog friendly, well worth it!

A great place for kids, or those that want to revisit childhood fantasies of dinosaurs. There is plenty to so with a dino dig, museum, a fossil area, the life-size dino trail, a video room, and even a plauground. There was ample shaded seating throughout the dino trail, so you can take a break and go at your own pace and it wasnt too hot since it was shaded. There were lots of picnic tables and you could bring a lunch and drinks. The playground was a big hit for the kiddos. The gift shop is huge and has so many unique items for kids and adults. Definitely a must see for kids and a nice stop/break while traveling.

Great little stop on our way to our destination. The kids got out to run around and have some fun and we enjoyed watching them. Was it a bit expensive? Sure, but what do you expect from a side of the road, hokey tourist place. As for the gift shop, I have no idea what the prices were. We didnt buy anything. I can appreciate the time someone has put into creating this place and keeping it up. They obviously have a love for dinosaurs and it shows. No, there were no rides or moving parts. But not everyplace in the world has to entertain in that fashion. Just my 2 cents.
