First time to Wild Hogs...not a good experience. First some clown, a real clown was there tying obscene balloons while filthy lyrics played in background with children front and center. Then waitress took forever to even come to the table for orders...which were taken incorrectly and not what was ordered. After asking for manager, who was a woman completely intoxicated and making the situation embarrassing not only for us but especially for our friend whose birthday it was, the manager tried to put a cupcake down her shirt and treated her verbally and physically in a sexual way and wanted to "boobie bump" on the dance floor to make up for poor service. When I tried to say something I was abruptly cut off and told that because I was a man all she heard was blah blah blah....how rude on both accounts. As for the drinks...Im sure there was very little alcohol in them and all ice. Shots of Hot Damn tasted like watered-down mouthwash. As for the food burgers ok... tenderloin grissley and fatty...small appetizers and overpriced and not hot by any means. Fries served in a tin and cold as well and cost extra with all sandwiches. Music was great... band was great and thankfully with a waitress change... things turned around service wise. Drinks were still bad but she was very professional and courteous to our needs. If I could give zero stars I would. Not a good experience. We dont go out much but when we do we expect to get our hard earned moneys worth not to be disrespected by management.

I am from California passing through. I am a Restaurant Manager and I have a Bachelors dagree in Hospitality & Resturant Msnagement and Food Safety. I have to say how disapointed I was after leaving wild hogs. The food on the all you can eat hamburger bar was defenatly not only up to safly standards to eat, it was way below the safe standard to even have been on that food bar for any type of service. The food was very old and not safe to eat. The service was also terrible. I really was excited to go there from the looks of the outside of the building but when I left it wax a very big disappointment and I sent me food back and would not eat it. I really hope the owner of wild hogs starts to read her reviews and does something about the way the food is served and makes it a safe place to eat before soneone really gets ill. Also it could not hurt for the owner to provide a hospitality and food safety course for her employees it could make a world of difference with your bussiness. I dont know how you do regulations in Iowa but I can tell you in California this such a thing is NOT tolerated by health and safety inspectors . I Wish YOU luck. I can say as far as the looks and presentation of the place first glance it is an eye catcher but that is not the only factor on becoming a successful bussiness .... This was my second visit to Wild Hogs. And I hope I can save anyone the Horrible experience I had both times. First I can tell you the food is not that good, this is from the first time I went, when it took forever to get waited on, but at least I did. The second time I sat at a table, in the middle of the floor, for 10 minutes without even a hello from any of the waitresses(5 of them walked right by me). Both my visits I observed how all the waitresses think they are hot, as God is my witness, I can tell you they are NOT!!! Instead of waiting on people they strut around like a turkey in heat. I can guarantee I will never go back to that place and if you are reading this save yourself the trouble, find someplace else to go.

Was horrible!! I had my handicapped son there for an easter egg hunt, we also ate there. The first waitress almost dumped all of our drinks off the tray on to my son! Then litterly moments later another waitress walked by and dropped a tray full of dishes on my son akd behind him! Then they kept walking by and hitting his stroler so had his face would hit the table. Of course i finally held him. I sent a message to the store and got in reply i think you sat in a both judging from what the ladies told but thats all i know about your situation. I was very upset and i will not ever go there again.

Ive been here five times in the past 12 months. The first three times the service was terrible. Had to wait forever just to make eye contact with a server so I could get a beer. The Wild Hog sandwich is very delicious. I highly recommend it. They have some great live music playing but it doesnt seem like very many people come out to see the bands play. I wonder if there is an advertising issue?? Restrooms were fairly clean. There is a nice little smoking area for patrons to use and still keep there drink with them. Improve the service and get some warm bodies in there for the live music!!!

AMAZING food! I went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago because it was recommended to me. Now its ALL I crave! The Wild Hog pork sandwich was to die for, as well as the fried pickles! You can tell the food is fresh and of outstanding quality. The only reason I didnt give this eatery 5 stars was because it is always too cold when Im in there (yes Ive gone multiple times already because the food is that good!). However, if you bring a sweatshirt or jacket, the food is always more than worth it! Will definitely recommend, and keep going myself :)

Called to get orders to go. First time, they didnt tell us that the braised chicken came with fries after so much of a purchase. Second time, they surprised us when it did. Plus, we got the chicken fried steak which was awesome. The third time, they said they had pretty much cut their menu in half, and no longer carried chicken fried steak. They ate not consistent with their prices or servings whatsoever. What a shame because they had good food, but between the bartender that gave us our food (RUDE!) And the inconsistencies, well go elsewhere.

Ordered ribs..I should have read the reviews. Ribs were cold, baked potato cold..the ham & turkey wrap was good. Dealt with the owner...I first returned the potato for a hot one then realized the ribs were cold. Owner made a rude comment about how I was going to complain that the ribs were cold too. Sure enough when she came back with the potato she had to go back and heat the ribs. Not a pleasant experience. I dont understand why they would serve cold food. They werent very busy at all! Probably will NOT be back.
