It was horrible. I met two young ladies that were sociable everyone else just sat there looking bored. I was wondering why it was so nice looking but so boring. The girls dont pick they own music, the music is super lame and old, many of the girls have no body and was told it basically geared towards the older crowd and people from out of town. I hate that we being represented this way as by them tbh. They dont dont dance on u to make tips they give you 60 seconds and said if they go any longer they gotta charge me 20 for a lap dance. And from what I understood its 160 for a private dance which wasnt private at all just in the corner. I gave them a chance and stayed a bit but me and the people I was with left and went to Lennys that was down the street which was alot nicer in my opinion. They had better music, girls that could dance, and everyone wasnt a stick figure. There was women of all types for all tastes and they had fun with us. Oh and the bar tender at the red garder seemed a bit rude and even said she dnt service that side of the bar and even mugged me and my girl. Dnt like pulling the race card but I think I wouldnt be wrong in this case if I was to say that. Avoid especially if you trying to have fun. If you want a boring place to be milked and nickel and dimed for breathing red garter is ok for that.

THIEVING EMPLOYEES...The club itself was nice, most of the girls were great, and cute! HOWEVER, being a girl who hasnt been in strip clubs much I guess Im just naive, but A WORD OF CAUTION: I bought a lap dance for my friend at the very end of the night. I gave the girl the money for the lap dance AND a tip. She gave a 5 min dance (the place was closing) and then told my friend that I didnt pay her so he needed to. I was at the front of the building so he couldnt find me to ask me and he even asked her if she was sure bc he knew I was buying one for him. Her response: "Well, you know how girls can be." Yup, we do now. UNACCEPTABLE. I will be calling to make a complaint. ***EDIT*** I did call and place a complaint with the manager George. I explained the situation to him and told him how UNACCEPTABLE what happened was. He politely thanked me, said he agreed, and that he would look into it. While Im sure he will look into it, I didnt get the feeling that he was very concerned with making the situation right by my friend and I. But hey, were just 2 idiots who got scammed by a dumb h.o, so who cares about us! lol

For downtown, two thumbs down. I work in the night clubs downtown and this place is a joke. If we have a night off we might slide in for a drink or two but most likely, we will pay for cab fare elsewhere. Girls are decent but the establishment itself has little to offer. Cmon Garter you are downtown!!!! Upgrade- make your staff some real money and quit >embarrassing< the city. This should be the highest profiting club in the city. There is a reason its not. Get with it!!! If you dont want to pay for a cab this place will get the job done but is def. one of my last choices of gentleman clubs in the surrounding city. Time and time again I send high rollers elsewhere as do my fellow bartenders and concierge friends. I love to support downtown businesses, please give me a reason to bring you tons of business!

Theres definitely something seedy about the place, which I kind of like. Some of the girls are hotter than others, but they were all friendly and fun to hang out with. Drafts werent too pricey, but the craft bottles were overly expensive. I liked the big screen TVs, and the food was decent. The stage dances were pretty awesome, and the clientele was great. The bar staff was really friendly. Its not the most upscale joint, but I would certainly come here again just to hang out with some folks, enjoy some erotic dances and kill a few hours. Its a "no pressure" kind of place. If they were to clear out some of the chairs and tables nobody uses and put in a pool table, I would want to be here all the time.

This is the WORLDS BEST Strip Club!!!! You would think that since its not a fully nude club that it would not be that great BUT it is . Almost every girl is happy to be there and they all climb on you like jungle gym. Ive never had so many boobies in my face. Me and my friends go to "The Garter" every Memorial Day when we make the pilgrimage from Pittsburgh for the Indy 500. We usually spend 24-30 hours inside and it is the highlight of our year. Reaffirmed my general distaste for these clubs. Half the staff was pleasant and fun, other half was, well, not. Grumpy server, black dancer with blonde hair apparently thought I said something about her, and said, and I quote, "see what happens when you say something about me again" out of no where to me. Lovely personality, that one. Needs to sharpen her eavesdropping skills. Anyway, youve got about a 50/50 shot of a decent experience coming here, if this type of place is your thing.

I arrived and when I pulled in the lot I had the most expensive vehicle there and while standing outside they tell me I can not smoke next to my vehicle because that is where the staff smokes. Ok so I put out my cigar go inside and they tell me I can not go in because I have a tank top on. I am wearing a sleeveless shirt not a tank top. Ok so the guy with the most expensive vehicle in your lot is not good enough to be there. Oh wow no way to do business.

Went here a few days after my 21st and they wouldnt let me in...I assume the idiot at the front door wasnt aware of Indiana laws. I had all the proper documentation and they still said no...I contacted them on facebook to point out the Indiana code on Licenses and they came back with inaccurate bullshit information so guess they lost out on many many customers considering I tell everyone never to go there.

Rude. Trying to get dancer information out of the person that answered was like pulling teeth. Just come in and fill out an application is not what girls need to hear. I was finally directed to a manager, where I was told that you must have an Indianapolis ID to work there. Bad business move on their part, but also good to know since I didnt waste time filling out an application for nothing.

After 9 there are two things that occur. 1) they charge a cover. Its only 7 bucks, so its not that big of a deal. 2) the a squad takes the stages. There is definitely a difference. No pressure, lots of girls. Bar has a nice selection, but Im not sure the middle aged guys know what to do with it. The space is fairly clean and open. Seating is comfortable. Easy place for couples.
