4 of us guys moved here to evansville recently and went out to SPE for the first time on Feb 27th, 2015. We ordered 2 rounds of 4 shots and 4 drinks spending a total of 47.00 plus 20.00 total to get in plus tips we spent nearly 80.00. We got there at 2:10am meaning we was only there for a short time but just enough time to be treated poorly by the tall male bartender, dis-regarded when attempting to talk to the show director twice, and walked away on when trying to complain to the front door lady but we at that point had a enough and told her she was going to listen to us, we was tired of being treated poorly by the staff. I am going to attempt to talk to the owner 1 on 1 and let them know that their staff is hurting their business and I want our local bar to be a huge success. Also, 2 of the 4 of us do drag and was interested in getting our foot in the door with a talent night but show director acted like she was annoyed we even asked and said she didnt know when her next one would be. Again Id like to stress to the bar owner how this will hurt their business as I have a rather large group from work who will attend the show putting money in their registers for cover and drinks. At this time I would strongly recommend not to spend your money at this establishment. If I talk to the owner and get a satisfactory talk out of her, I will do a follow up. Thanks.

I absolutely love this place! When you first walk in the first floor is very low key and casual, and upstairs the floor show is so high energy and the atmosphere is full of excitement. The entertainers are amazing. They are so friendly, funny, and charismatic. They all have their own style but they all make you feel like youve been friends for ages. From embarrassing you on your birthday, to picking on you when they catch you not paying attention, to dragging you up on stage and making you a part of the show, to random flamboyant over the top flirtatious gestures just to see your reaction. Its a night out with your wildest friends, and I wouldnt change it for the world.

It started out grate we had a good time but at closing after spending almost 200.00 dollars on drinks and tips and drag queens. when we went to check out, the bar tenders said really 75.00 on my card and125.00 in cash they said I dont think you tipped us but I did the other 50.00 was in tips and the other 75.00 was in dancers and drag queens and dont for get the 7 dollars each at the door. to get up stairs. with bar tenders like this I will take my business else were. really disappointed in the bar tenders at closing and will not be back. we will go to the brick house.

Dirty and old building. Staff is rude and their "entertainment" is the worst I have EVER seen at any bar. Very sad that evansville doesnt offer anything better than this hellhole for the glbt community. I gladly drive to Indy Louisville St Louis for an enjoyable gay night

My favorite place to hang out. Its a very comfortable club with amazing people. Its always fun and the people are so friendly. Im not gay but of all the clubs in Evansville this is where I love to be. I go every year for my birthday.

This bar used to be the hopping place, now it seems to be a last resort. 20 people on a Friday night. Shows seem a bit unprofessional, constant "technical difficulties". I hate to see an old favorite die...

This has been one of my favorite bars to go to since I turned 21 (several years back) I like the renovations they made downstairs this year. The shows and drinks make for a hood night all around.

traveled form nyc to visit this wonderful bar. out of a movie. very somber but romantic. the staff were wonderful. the actual patrons were not so nice but the staff is what makes it! xoxoxo
