I have been to here several times, and I would really like to enjoy this place. The servers are all very nice, but the service is super slow. We have stopped by in the evening for beers on the patio, and while the service was slow, it was tolerable. We decided to try lunch there, since we had never ordered food before. We had to wait 15 min. to be seated (they were not crowded at all), and then another 10 min. before our server came to take drink orders. Very nice guy, but so slow. I was glad we werent on our lunch break because we would have been very late! We were surprised to find that on Wednesdays all of the burgers are 1/2 price. Our veggie burgers were very good as were the french fries. If only they could get the service straightened out!

The atomosphere was very good. The top floor tended to be heavily populated with the younger generation, and the lower floor with "older" people. And when I say older, Im talking about people who arent there to be completely smashed and want to talk, listen to music, eat, and have a good time. The drinks are a tad pricey (depending on what you get, of course), but the bartenders know what theyre doing and make a damn good drink! I didnt try the food, unfortunately! I would recommend this spot to anyone who wants a good place to relax and have a good time! Oh, its a bit slow at night until around 10, then it picks up quite a bit!

Food was not what we ordered because they were out of ingredients. They did not feel the need to let us know when we ordered, or even when the food was brought to the table, we had to ask about missing items. The food we did receive was very dry and overcooked. When we told our server, she apologized and said she would let the manager know. She then returned with a message from the manager, the manager did not have the courtesy to come talk to us herself even though the restaurant was not very busy and she was walking around speaking to "regulars". Overall we had a horrible experience and will not be returning.

Fantastic experience. Somewhat small beer selection, but decent variety. The food was very good. I had the pretzels with beer cheese and they were fresh, flaky, and perfect. After that I asked for recommendations and was told the fish and chips were the best. My meal arrived with salt, lemon, malt vinegar, and ketchup, so all tastes should be covered. The fish was huge and cooked perfectly! I went with a bit of lemon, salt, and vinegar and it was excellent. Very friendly staff as well.

Some of the worst service I have experienced. Salad came after my meal. Then I sat at my table with an empty mug forever. I finally got so thirsty I had to get up and walk to the bar to get my second drink. The waitress would have gotten a much bigger tip if she would have just made sure my mug was full. To all your waitresses out there if you see an older guy out by himself. He has money and out to enjoy him self. Keep his mug full and you will be tipped nicely.

awful. the fish and chips were burnt to a crisp. after i told the waitress she pretty much said sorry but didnt offer to change anything. it was saturday afternoon and the only people there were myself and my sister who was visiting me from N.Ireland....yes, Im from N.Ireland. 2 mins later the chef came out and leaned across the bar giving me daggers. I can be an intimidating bastard so he decided it wasnt a good idea to continue. I wont be back

I went on a Tuesday for Quiz Night, which was my first visit to Ri Ras. It was so fun! My two friends ordered burgers and fries (amazing fries), and I ordered the chicken bites off the appetizer menu. The chicken and sauce it came with were both amazing! Our waitress was very nice, too. Im actually going back again tonight, so Ill change this review if I feel the service or food wasnt as good as last time.

Had the fish and chips. Outstanding! The service was a tad on the slow side, but they were slammed this evening, so it was totally understandable. Especially with the crowd we brought with us. Could have used more traditional Irish music over the pa. The food was delicious, the Guinness was perfect, and the servers were kind and friendly. 10/10 would go here again. Fantastic for large groups.

Food was excellent. That was the only positive note of the visit. Server (Angel I believe) was VERY inattentive and uncaring. Had the make your own bloody mary.. bar was short stocked and looked like complete garbage. I had to ask several times for a water refill. He had the "Ill get to it when I can attitude." I shall not be returning. VERY VERY disappointing.

Good food, including traditional boxty. In an odd turn of events, wait staff brought three wrong orders to our table at lunch while ours was delayed. This is the the exception for RI Ra, however, not the rule. It appears they no longer bring Irish citizens to Evansville to work here. We will definitely return.

This place makes delicious authentic food and the pretzel buns they use for several of their burgers are the best. Its cozy and has got a festive atmosphere. Ive been to several catered events upstairs which is great as well. The food is always delicious. Trivia night is fun, too (if a little boisterous).

On the plus side, the Pubs interior was well decorated. Unfortunately, service was very poor. Waitresses were more interested in chit chatting well out of sight of the tables than checking up on their customers and the prices were much too high for the servings portioned.

Great ambiance and feel, certainly unique among bars in Evansville. They have a wide range of food from lunch to dinner, and bar snacks afterward. Something for everyone looking for a nightlife spot: trivia, often has live music, and sometimes a DJ.

Neat, authentic Irish pub. The bar was actually brought over and rebuild from Ireland. Wednesday there are some pretty good burger deals. Sometimes takes quite some time to get your food so not always the best lunch option if your on a schedule.

Rí Rá has some of the best food, cocktails, beer, and atmosphere of any place in Evansville. On a personal note, we had my wedding reception in their upstairs party room last year, and it was a great space with an excellent catering menu.

Not bad. Food is good, cool atmosphere. Great place to go if you’re a soccer fan and wanting to watch a big match. Kind of pricey though, especially for this area. Service is usually good, but tends to be slow at lunch time.

Not the best but not the worst. Potato cakes were undercooked but the balsamic reduction was a nice compliment to the panko breaded cakes. Service was decent, no personality but efficient. Good selection of craft beers.

The atmosphere here is so great! The only thing I was disappointed about is that our appetizer came out half frozen! Then the waiter acted like it was no big deal. Ill be back..but hopefully will get better service!
