SLOW PLAY!!! Great course. Great conditions when I played. Greens were fast. 5 sets of tees. My only complaint was the speed of play. There was a ranger, but all he did was tell the slower group to speed up. We saw him at least 5 times. By the end of the round, there was a 3 hole gap in front of a slower group. My advice, do not force people to play faster. The slow group was having fun. Just telling a slow group to play faster doesnt work. The ranger should have let groups play through. He should have stood on the tee and waited for groups to play through. I would love to play this course again, but I would be very reluctant due to slow play.

Greens were in poor condition. Bunkers unkept and lacked any depth. We typically played Bear Slide 7-8 times a year until this year. Had a bad experience a few weeks ago with the inside staff and rudeness. Tried again yesterday, same result. Wont be back. Its a shame, good layout.

Bearslide is a must play golf course! The front nine is a wide open links style course that features fast greens, rugged mounding and Scottish style experience. The back nine adds some woodlands to the mix. A great track!

Bear Slide is a hidden gem in Cicero.. The front nine is open rolling fields while the back nine is rugged, tricky and shaded by the trees. Not to mention serving Sun King is always a plus!

Had a great day with customers on this challenging but fair track. Greens are extremely difficult and make it a fun round of golf. Conditions were very good.
