Mark, they had to charge $5 for guests because Hispanic families would bring 10-15 people at once to the pool, cousins and grandmas and everyone from Elgin was showing up and it was out of control. Pingree Grove AKA Little Mexico, goodbye little American country town and its so disgusting here. This town is getting filled with Mexican Gangs and and Cartel members and trash from Elgin. So many cars drive with one headlight and blow stop signs and have no regard for the rules of the road because so many people in Pingree Grove have no license or insurance. Im so tired of sitting on my patio with friends grilling and hearing loud Spanish mariachi music blasting from homes, I walk to the lake and fish and everyone is speaking Spanish on the trails and large groups of Hispanic kids throw trash in the water. I try to relax by the lake and play country music on my phone and fish and Mexicans yell cracker at me and make fun of the music. It will only get worse and it has to be 60% Hispanic in Pingree grove now. Its so annoying to pull into Cambridge lakes and see help wanted signs on every corner in Spanish and piñatas hanging from trees in peoples backyard, my neighbor has 11 people living in a 4 bedroom home and he has bunk beds in the kitchen and parks cars on his lawn. Pingree Grove is starting to get known as a Elgin or Carpentersville with a bad name and Im embarrassed to tell people I live in Pingree Grove so I say I live in Huntley instead. I read an article that Cambridge lakes subdivision has over 500 illegal immigrants living there and 30% of Pingree Grove does not know English. Its becoming like Carpentersville here and President Trump should send Immigration to Pingree Grove to clean the town up before it gets any worse.

This town is like Mexico now and I cant wait to move. Im talking over 50% Hispanic and its out of control. Everything Newton commented on below is definitely true. Everyone is so rude here and you get harassed by workers and cops. You sit in the parking lot and wait for family to come out and cops will approach you with a spotlight and harass you. Cant wait to move and life is to short to be living here. If you like seeing Mexico flags everywhere and hearing loud Spanish mariachi music blasting for hours while you grill in your backyard and like seeing lowriders and piñatas and like seeing F Trump stickers on peoples cars with anti American slogans this is the perfect town for you. So disgusting here and when you look up demographics it says 30% of Pingree Grove does not know English, how sickening here and no little downtown feel and no American flags or war memorial stuff and nothing for Memorial Day and they wont say Christmas here and say Holiday Tree lol.... Hampshire, Genoa, Huntley, Union, Burlington, and Elburn are 100X better than this gross town. If you want to lose money purchase a home here!

My family and I drove 2 hrs just to stop by and check out the area. It was recommended highly by a friend. Stopped by at the community center to see what it has to offer. Door was opened so we figured to enter. Few minutes of walking around saw lounge area and decided to sit. The front desk lady came in the room and kicked us out. My nephew was so confused why we had to leave and knew we being kicked out. Long story short. We got embarrassed and i hope not to come back. I know its a little thing by i wouldnt wanna live here if i cant use the facility without being harrassed.

Nice place that is close to home to work out. Pool is nice in the summer and gym is great for the kids and friends in the winter. Dont agree with the 5 dollar charge for guest to the basketball court / field house, should set up a guest pass system for visiting family that could work for 2-3 days at a time. But its hard to argue with someplace I can ride my bike to work out....

Came here to visit and thought of buying here. I will never come back and cant believe how it is back here. Im not joking it was like Mexico and everyone was speaking Spanish in the fitness room and I come out to my car and Spanish music is blasting in the parking lot. I couldnt wait to leave and would never buy a home here.

I live here. Parks in every subdivision plus a nice community pool. Unfortunately they consider the splash pad and small baby pool area as legit pool areas to potential home buyers.
