I went into the Grape Escape with a group of girls and we were treated terribly. RUDE RUDE RUDE! I have never been treated so like that for service that I WAS PAYING FOR. Make sure and bring a second form of ID because they are fairly incompetent when it comes to either (a) doing the math and seeing that individuals born in 1982 are INDEED above the legal drinking age of 21 or (b) knowing what out of state IDs look like. NOT A FUN PLACE! But hey, head down the street and youll certainly find a good time.

Skipped skiing at the resort when I found this bar. The place is nice and clean with great drinks. Tau was the bartender and made up a drink for me with boozy tea: delish!! Then the musician for the night showed up and entertained our Taylor Swift requests! Cant believe I came to this little resort town to find such easy going fun!

Blown away by the amazingly large martini and beer selection. Staff is great and lots of fun! When bands play the sound is unbelievable. When we went there was an open bloody mary bar on sat. along with great music. The following day we played an actual quiz show. This is a must when in Galena IL.

I heard its a "dyke" bar owned by a lesbian. Like most places in Galena, they cater to the Chicago idiots, tourists and dont care about the locals, especially when it comes to their prices.

It was great to find this mad place in such a quaint little tourist town. I had far to many martinis and it was THE BEST! Skip the sweet stuff and get a GERMAN ROCKSTAR.
