If I could give this place 0 stars I would. NEVER go to this place. I didnt eat but im sure the experience wouldnt have been any better if I did. I went in on Thursday 2/25 around 7pm. There were about 4 other tables around and they had a live band. A friend and I walked in to the hostess (I couldnt see her name because her name tag was shoved under her arm) She walked around for a couple minutes looking like a lost dog. Finally came back to the hostess stand and told us to follow her. She should develop a personality if shes going to work in the Customer Service business. She sat us in the same section as the band when they are on break in between songs, right beside the sound guy AND right beside a speaker. When our server finally came to our table I asked her if the band was really loud, which they were, so I asked the server if we could move. She was polite and said she could get us moved to another section and get us taken care of. About 10 minutes later we still havent moved and I cant hear myself think because Im still sitting beside a speaker. By this time Im FURIOUS and my friend is looking around wondering WTH is going on. When we decide to walk out, and we had to walk across the restaurant to get to the door, NOT ONE person working asked us "How was everything", "Have a good night" or ANYTHING. This is probably the worst experience Ive had at a downtown restaurant. Sarcastically Im sad to see an overpriced, overrated establishment lose customers. Oh and in the 20 minutes we sat there another party of about 10 walked out as well because the hostess walked away and never came back. DO NOT waste your money or time trying to eat here. You will only be disappointed. If youre looking for a good place to eat on Beale, go to Blues City across the street. The tamales with chili are awesome and our server, Jelena was an amazing employee. They know what Customer Service really is.

I just visited Memphis this past weekend, and I knew I wanted to try the Hard Rock for the novelty of the visit. I had super high hopes when I entered, and found a skewed line of people waiting to be seated. There were many empty tables, yet the host was essentially ignoring the line. Finally, we were seated. It took our waitress over 20 minutes to come to our table. We ordered our drinks, which took another 15 minutes to get to us. The drinks were small and overpriced. Our food took about 45 minutes to get to us. I had ordered the fajitas with steak. When i cut the steak, i found that it was completely raw on the inside. We sent it back, and got it 20 minutes later burnt to a crisp and to my surprise found that it was still uncooked... Though I understand there is a risk when one orders meat, I figure the second time around it should be checked to ensure that it is actually cooked meat. By the time it came back, the guacamole was already bad, and I couldnt eat any of the fajitas because I was just too grossed out. We were there for 3 hours, where most of the time was spent waiting for drinks or actual cooked food. The waitress was super kind through it all, I am sure she was just busy. But when I spend 70$ on a meal, i would like to actually be able to eat my meal. I dont think I will be coming back here or to any Hard rock.

Food here was low-rate and extremely overpriced. Service was incredibly lacking and somewhat slow (certainly not a packed place at the time either). I knew to expect this, we have been here twice, and its only for convenience sake when we are attending an event at the Forum and we have our son with us (some of the other places on Beale allow smoking or are 24 hour bars masquerading as restaurants-- even at 2pm). Bleh... really, avoid this place if you can. If you have children with you, make sure you plan ahead sufficiently and eat in East Memphis, Overton Square, etc beforehand. Actually, considering its Memphis (um, Elvis, Justin Timberlake, anyone?) I think their memorabilia pales in comparison to most of the Hard Rocks I have visited. Of course I may be jaded, those locations are places like Vegas, San Diego, Orlando. But really, they could do WAAAYYY better. Funny enough, I have had decent food at other HRs in other parts of the country.

OMG!!! Where to start?!?!? It was a Saturday night, they werent that busy. That should have been my first clue. We were a party of 6. We were seated fairly quickly, awesome! Once we met our waiter it went down hill. Our meals came in cycles. Got my burger, 3 minutes later my fries came. When the next cycle came, part of my friends food, I had to ask for the sauce for my fries. 5 minutes later it arrives. I also ordered a "red berry press". Should have come in a French press to hold the fruit out of the way (as pictured and described on the menu). Too many LARGE chunks of fruit, kept blocking my straw. There are too many things to even list here. It was a comedy of errors. In short...3 hours of being there, saw the waiter maybe 7 or 8 times. Only able to have 2 drinks the entire time of being there. Needless to say...will NEVER return the this Hard Rock again. I wouldnt care if I were starving

Food was good, but the service could have been better. We werent even in during the busiest hours of the day. We were seated upstairs. Since I am from out of town, I am not sure if it is the norm, but after waiting for a good 15-20 minutes, I went ahead and took the menu myself from the hostess, since nobody was helping us with our order. The 2nd time I had to move from my seat was to tell the hostess that we were ready to place the order. Anyway, after the order was placed, it was smoother with the food being sent out on time. And no complaints for the food itself. I am not sure when Id be in Memphis again, but if it is just for a night, I will have to think before going to this HRC. P.S. I am glad to see the Manager here personally replying back to feedback. This is the first time I see such response being made on Google Reviews. Appreciated.

The bands that played on Tuesday were just as talented as the acts on Monday. My wife and I had the best time listening to the bands and enjoying the food, drinks and atmosphere. A very fun place!!! Everyone was so nice and friendly. We were in Memphis for two nights and had dinner at the Hard Rock both nights. We never even considered walking around Beale Street because we were having such a good time at the Hard Rock Café. I would highly recommend the Hard Rock Café in Memphis to anyone. Our kind of town, our kind of food, our kind of people and our kind of music. Thank you to the management and staff of Hard Rock Café in Memphis for making my wife’s 50th birthday and our visit to Graceland a most memorable one!!! Ron & Linda Baltimore, MD

I will change the 3 star once I order some food, we showed up at lunch time on a Friday afternoon. When we walked in the band was ridiculously loud, all you could hear was the drums you couldnt even hear what the rapper was rapping about. Ordered the pomegranate mule, wasnt as strong as I assumed it would be. Waitress tried to make small talk, I felt rude because I couldnt hear her nor could she hear me. Ordered one drink and left. Well come back to see what the food is like. We didnt realized there was gonna be a band mid-day. Not that Im entirely complaining they were there, just the volume of the band. If it wasnt so loud it would have been fine, For the mid-day vibe.
