The wife and I recently went on our first date since becoming new parents and while planning a little trip for the day I found this place listed on Google and it was on our way home. We stopped there to check things out and were quite impressed! It was a cloudy but pretty Sunday afternoon and they had a band playing outside on the deck. We did a FREE wine tasting and the bartender was very pleasant/helpful. All the wines we tried were incredible! I couldnt decide which one I enjoyed the most. I also opted to try their new line of in house brews which werent that bad as well. This place was super clean, very friendly, the owner was really down to earth, beautiful views of nature, and also a very private feel to it. Certainly will return. The Bluffs Winery is a hidden Southern Illinois gem for sure!

CLOSED FOREVER do not go here, the lady made it very clear they would not open and did not care to change their website. Met a couple that traveled all the way from St Louis and had to turn around. Pathetic

Very good. Friendly staff. Amazing views. Beautiful place. Limited food options but for just a great time and great wine. This is the place to go! First time goers and were pretty impressed :)

I had a really bad experience with the owner, Steve Ellis. The wine is poorly crafted, the food is reheated and the company is poor. Do yourself a favor and go to Alto Vineyards instead.
