Ive been a Braves fan for many years and theres a few things you can come to expect out of going to a game at Turner Field. The Braves always play well at home. Most seasons they have one of the best home records in baseball. Odds are youll see a good game. Youll also likely experience a series of lines and waiting. It takes a long time to get to a parking lot. It takes a long time to get into the stadium. It takes a long time to wait for the bathroom. It takes a long time to get food. You get the idea. Parking is $15 this year. If youre going with more than 4 people, its more economical to drive than to take the train. MARTA really is no faster than driving. You have to take a bus to the nearest train station and on games with a lot of people, they sometimes run out of buses. There was a playoff game I once waited 25 minutes for a bus to get to the train. My one pet peeve about Turner Field is they cant help but fill every moment with contests on the giant video board. Where I sit, the PA is usually so loud that I have to wait for the contest to end before I can go back to having a conversation with my friends. I long for the days of Fulton County Stadium with just some music in between innings.

This is Turner Fields last season, so this review may not mean too much but I absolutely loved the stadium. We went to a game against the Mets (my favorite team), and we were able to get great seats for a very affordable price. The stadium itself is obviously dated, but it really packs a lot of baseball charm. There are several great food options throughout the stadium, and the staff at every stop was very friendly and helpful. The fans were equally friendly even though we were pulling for the opposing team and division rival. I was impressed by how absorbed in the game every fan seemed to be. Baseball etiquette was in full effect, with respectful fans young and old throughout the stadium, requiring very little guidance from the ushers. While the stadium may be old, the field was immaculate. It was certainly one of the prettier fields Ive seen. The video board games were also unique and very fun. We had a wonderful time. If you love baseball, see this treasure before its gone.

I worked in the at Turner Field from 2004 until June, 2017. I was a Turner Field Tour Guide from 2004 until 2013 when they announced the Sun Trust move. At that point I continued to work taking visitors into the museum during games. I am currently resigning my position as I can no longer support the decisions of management to dismantle the award winning Ivan Allen Museum and Hall of Fame with the move to the new venue. I intend to work to convince Braves" management that this is a mistake. During the time I have worked at the museum, I have conducted tours for thousands of people--many from other teams--many from other countries, and many locals. All find the charm and uniqueness of this museum enviable for their own areas. I advise anyone interested in museums--especially sports museums--to visit this one before it becomes history in favor of the mighty corporate dollar.

Take me out to the ballgame for sports action, live entertainment and Holeman & Finch burgers! Before last week I had not been to Turner Filed in a decade. After living in Miami and witnessing the development of the Marlins Stadium become an attraction destination I see Turner Filed moving in the same direction. For the $25 price of our ballgame ticket we hung out in the Chop House enjoying margaritas and cold beers. We had access onto the field (after the game) to watch a live performance from one of my nostalgic teenage music loves, Weezer. Im keeping an eye on the Braves calendar for more fun nights. P.S. Parking is a breeze if you exit the interstate and veer into the second right lane. There are two lanes to turn right into the stadium and about 90% of the traffic is unaware, staying in one lane, creating a very long wait to turn in.

This my first experience at a ball game EVER! I did get to experience it in a suite above the stadium - however it was wonderful! They have a nice Delta sky bar and the suite was amazing. I wish they didnt have to waste the food that doesnt get eaten but that is beyond my or their control. The field itself and the stadium are a site to behold, statues and nostalgia. It was a great feeling and I am glad I got to experience a Braves game before they are no longer there. Its a great little bonus you get to drive through the Olympic rings and torch on your way out of the stadium. Very cool. Be prepared to walk a mile from your parking space - but if you have ever been to a large venue like that you can expect that type of thing. But they were very organized in parking people. Too bad this stadium is longer what it used to be.

Great atmosphere. Its a bummer that this is the last season that the Braves will be here, regardless of their recent statistics. My friends, family, and I have had many great memories here. The staff members are always upbeat, helpful, and appreciative of attendees. The drinks are a bit expensive, but if you look hard enough, there are a few stands in the stadium that are significantly cheaper. The views are great from anywhere in the stadium, although the upper level seats lack cupholders. Overall, if I can only really complain about the cupholders, then I think theyre doing a great job. I hope they bring the same energy and more to the Cobb county stadium next year. Go Braves!

I will not pretend to like Baseball, but I always enjoy going to Turner Field. If you are a Braves enthusiast or not everyone enjoys the Friday Fireworks games. If Baseball is not your thing, you can run around the stadium and enjoy all the attractions and food. It will be interesting to see what will happen to Turner Field, and what the new stadium will look like when we transition to Cobb County. Until that day comes go and enjoy this amazing stadium full of history and take pride in being the Atlanta Braves! Tip: Check out some daily deal sites to get great deals on Friday Fireworks games, you can get tickets for half off!

Old stadium, I can understand why they are building a new one for the Braves. I can also understand why Braves fans are upset they are moving out of the Atlanta downtown area. However, the traffic was a nightmare and it took forever to get inside the stadium with the new safety and security measures in place. Even though we didnt get to our seats until the top of the 3rd, the game was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Amazing performance by a drum line and a group of dancers as we were walking out. Hope to catch one more game before the season ends.

Saw the Cubs and Braves play here on June 12 2016. The Ted is a beautiful stadium and Im glad I got to go here before the big move. Im sad that the Braves are leaving a perfectly good stadium in the heart of the city an Icon of the skyline to move dow the road. Its kind of is a slap in the face of atlantans to leave the heart of the city. But oh well. Im sure SunTrust will be nice and Noone will care. Ultimately the Braves decided to go where the money is in the suburbs rather than stay in the heart with the rest of the major league teams.
