Females, beware. To start, Im a guy, and I personally have never had a fantastic time at Havana, despite knowing several people who work there. So Im not disgruntled at the door by cover fees (although if I didnt know these friends I would be). But this honestly isnt about me- its about the experiences of female friends of mine. This past weekend alone, I spoke to three of my female friends who attended the club, all on separate occasions. They had an identically awful experience when it came to simply walking around the establishment. Of course they expected to be greeted with male attention, BUT these guys were way out of line. They were followed, groped and, in one case, sexually violated. In the case of the sexual violation, the young lady and her friend went to speak with staff on this matter, attempting to point the guy out, their response was "Theres nothing we can do about that." It ruined their evening and I personally was fuming when I was told this. As a gentleman, I was pissed at another male refusing to do anything to help these young ladies. When you go to a club, you should expect to have fun and mingle. When you feel genuinely unsafe and essentially harassed, you are not going to come back. And when the biggest pull is the attractive young ladies, and you start disregarding their safety, this affects your establishment when it comes to perception, which eventually affects your bottom line. Concerning this topic, in summary, Havana does not have an effective policy in place to protect its patrons from sexual harassment, and it is obvious. My three friends went in a span of two days and all had the exact same things happen to them. Its unacceptable. Find a way to better monitor the crowd better, remind patrons the rules of the establishment or explore other methods of reducing these sorts of incidents. The reasons for my usual personal dissatisfaction with going? The vibe of the patrons and the music. The regulars seem to be flashy stereotypical clubbers with little actual substance to them while the music is Top 40, on repeat, in most rooms. I heard drakes "hotline bling" ~10 times in one night. If I were into salsa, I might be enticed by that particular room but Im a hip-hop guy. But Id like to leave the focus on the experiences of my female friends because that is a much larger issue that needs to be rectified. I give them a 1 star rating until this changes. There is potential for this club to be something special, but based on what Ive described and many other reviews, the male creepers/lowlifes are definitely holding it back.

I thought it would be appropriate if I wrote this small note to express me and my guest extreme discontent over the way we were treated last night! Myself along with two other young ladies came from Balugas last night over to your establishment. First of all I know you all charge a $20.00 cover fee. However, when I was told my fee would be $40.00 dollars which I refused to pay. Next, my guest wanted me to be with them so bad that your front door attendant said I could get in for $30.00 which in my opinion was still extremely high! Finally, to make matters even worse your club charged Amanda Cardosos credit card $60.00 and lied saying there was an extra guy with us!!! Unbelievable!!! I have never experience anything like this in my entire life!!! Your entire staff lied to get more money from one person!!! Im a very successful entertainer and I plan on letting the right people know about this. Also not to mention that Amanda Cardoso is one of your VIP members!!!

Wasnt very impressed with this place at all. We arrived around 11 pm & the place was fairly busy. One of the bouncers was fairly tough with my husband while searching him. We walked in after paying and walked over to the bar, it took awhile because the place was cramped with barely any space to walk. I think this place has too much going on. Drinks were great, we walked to the other rooms as well, one room was salsa dancing which was pretty cool. Another room seemed to be an EDM-style room and it gave my husband a weird vibe. Not even an hour and a half passed and my husband and I were standing in the corner trying to find another night club to go to because this place was really odd. Alot of an older crowd that acted like they were better than everyone else. The music was really mediocre & extremely annoying. We wont be coming back here, the only reason Im giving it 2 stars is because the drinks were amazing & because I was with my husband.

I am so dissapointed! I was so excited that the Havana Club was re-opening... especially because I read the reviews which seemed to be great. But I had such a horrible time that I had to re-read the reviews to make sure. And most of the good ones came from dates from when the old club was on. First off, I have never payed this much to get into a club in my life- $40 per person (I am from LA and have never payed that much)... the drinks were over-priced... it was over packed. If you like to dance, dont come here. There is absolutely no room to move or even walk! The only plus was that the music was nice but me and my husband go out to dance. Not to get shoved around by people. And it completely lost the charm of the old club. I have never been to Havana, but the old club made me imagine I could be there... this place just reminded me of an over-priced rave. Dont waste your money or time!

Very poorly designed. The VIP tables are right on the bar, so plan to go and get a drink while being pushed around by bulimic trashy twits looking to score booze off of people with a VIP tables. The really sloppy drunks are breaking their glasses and falling down the stairs right into the people waiting at the bar. The tables and chairs are too close to flows of traffic so even if you are going to sit be prepared for jostling by people. Smoking is allowed so be prepared for cigarette burns on your upper body because people push through the crowd cigarette hand first and burn you then slur an apology. Parking is also minimal at best. After getting a 9 $ rum and coke FULL of ice and no rum, our group heard another girl tell her friends someone put a roofie in her drink and they had to carry her out of the bar. It was a huge waste of time and I say go ANYWHERE else..
