I cannot give more than 3 stars due to the customer service experience from the manager. We like to place to go orders on Friday nights and enjoy not cooking but also not being out with the crowds. I tip on to go orders just like I do if I eat in at a restaurant and feel I should be treated as any customer would. You have to beg over the phone for more than one little container of salsa and a brown lunch sack of chips. Even though Im ordering 3 meals. They even add 7% to the to go order and still want to be stingy about .25 worth of salsa they would bring to the table if you were dining in. The manager is rude about it and didnt care when I told him we would no longer be weekly diners, and so, we are not. Worst margaritas, dont bother. However, this review is not all bad. The wait staff is always very friendly and helpful. This is conveniently located for us or we wouldnt still eat here about once a month. While most of the food is average and the chips are stale about 50% of the time (yes they will tell you they have them fresh everyday), the azul fajitas for two is an excellent dish with a large portion of chicken, steak, shrimp and some of the best chorizo sausage Ive had. The steak is actually tender and well seasoned in this dish.

Azul Tequila is probably the largest Mexican Restaurant in the Peachtree City area. Although we have sometimes had to park in an adjacent parking lot and walk over, weve only had to wait for a table once. That was on Cinco de Mayo. Wed forgotten what day it was and unless you want to celebrate the holiday Id suggest you stay away then. Im not a drinker, but they have an extensive drink menu. They used to be primarily a tequila bar. I cant speak to the quality or value of the drinks because Ive never had them. The food is quite good. The portions are also very generous. One of my wifes and my favorite dishes there is the house special. Here is their description, "A bed of Mexican rice topped with your choice of Grilled Chicken, Steak or both, mixed with bell peppers (green, yellow & red), onions, mushrooms and topped with white melted cheese." It comes with a side of tortillas and is easily enough for two. Also, if you want different protein, just ask, they are happy to make substitutions.

I had poor service and food. The server came by once to get the order and never returned to check on our food, or asked if we wanted more drinks, water, etc. The food showed up from the food runner and the beans were not even warm, the cheese was to be melted and was just in chunks on top. The server came back at the end and totalled and dropped off our bill without asking if we wanted desert, drinks or check how the meal was. We said that the food came out cold and she did not even care and walked off. We were very pleasant but thought we would tell the Manager about it. The manager was worse than the waitress. Standards are low at this location. Trashy, seats torn, no care for service. Said because we were very courteous but I had my business shirt on and they catered to the white color crowd. Even though I am the executive.

Weve gone several times in the past two years, every special occasion, lunch date and all around go to when we want good food and great atmosphere! Excellent food, the housemade guacamole with warm tortillas is fresh and delicious. They are prompt with our appetizers, and entrees. Theyre shredded beef tacos are filling and you get several sides to choose from. The portions are well sized, but we always take home leftovers! When checking our IDs when placing our drinks order the waitress noticed that it was my sisters birthday and surprised us when they brought out a complimentary dessert!! Their homemade Churros with Carmel dipping sauce was to die for!! Service is friendly and prompt, food is always fresh and delicious, our favorite Mexican restaurant bar none!

Arrived and greeted and told by the hosted we could sit outside so we did...NOPE the manager wouldnt accommodate our party of 4 to sit outside because essentially they were to lazy to set it up- got up and left and will never come back or recommend this place to anyone . Manger on duty "OKE" wouldnt even come and tell us she made her staff tell us we cant sit out there anymore. It was not raining nor crowded and the only reason apparent was laziness of the manager not wanting people outside and setting the tables. Read the other reviews of crappy service- dont go here- if the GM sees this kindly contact me for further detail about the "manager"

I go to Azul Tequila when others suggest it but it is not my familys go to Mexican restaurant. For lunch I like the Huevos Divorciados which is two eggs, over easy, with rice and beans and red and green sauce served with two corn tortillas. Its pretty good. For dinner I like the Enchiladas Rojas, two beef and one cheese. They dont use hamburger in their enchiladas. They use shredded steak. These are very good. I have only had one margarita there and it tasted good but there wasnt much tequila in it. For dinner they seem to be understaffed. Overall though, it is a good restaurant.

Yall dont know real Latin food if you rate this place a 5. First time eating here with my family and I was really looking forward to a wow experience with the large well decorated restaurant. Was disappointed with the food mainly- over cooked Chinese looking rice, bland beans, fijitas came out Not* sizzling, couldnt eat the shredded beef burrito, and no salsa bar?! The waitress couldnt even pronounce the name of the restaurant in proper Spanish. Id come back and try a different dish or two but definitely felt let down.

This is definitely in my TOP 3 Mexican Restaurants in Fayette County. The employees are well-dressed and friendly. I have never had a long wait for a table because they keep enough staff on to handle the proper workload on any given night. As far as the food and drinks go; they have the best cheese dip, with jalapenos. It isnt the diced or chopped jalapenos, like in other restaurants, but it is blended in with the dip so as to have a nice, smooth, texture. The drinks are amazing as well.

Worst Mexican food Ive ever eaten. Ever. The veggies were sour and cold, the main dish was so drenched in cold cheese that I couldnt get to the meat. To top it off, the service was intolerable. Our server was nowhere to be found after our food was delivered; the girl who delivered the food was clumsy enough to lie her kitchen-germ-covered arm down in our appetizer and drinks. We will never recommend this restaurant, much less dine here again.

Completely blown away by Azul Tequila! From the service to the diverse tequilas and cocktail selection to the 9 page food menu complete with Fried Ice Cream, this is a quality Mexican restaurant. The grilled salad featured grilled chicken, shrimp AND steak topped with hunks of avocado and drizzled with sour cream. Lettuce, tomato, black beans and corn completed the dish. It was too much for two people, let alone one.
