This place has the rudest people I have ever deal with, I was exiting about going to this alligator farm, my husband didnt care about it, but we finally went. When we got to the front desk, the 3 girls working that day were rude, not friendly at all, they didnt care about customer service ( or maybe they were just been racist). My son and I decided to do the short zip line. We were having fun, my son is 10 years old, and he was having a little trouble, so I helped him, until some girl told me I was not aloud to help my kid, really? So what I was suppose to do, live him behind? there was no employees up there helping anybody, you were on your own. We were on the middle of the course (I think, Im not sure) , and started to raining, a mean it was poring, so the employees told us we needed to come down. Im not blaming no one about the weather, that can happen, What really has me upset is the employees attitude, my son needed to finish the obstacle before he was able to come down, but he got scare, you couldnt see nothing because of the rain it was pretty bad, I was already on the ground, and I was having trouble keeping my eyes open, can you imagine a 10 years old child, been up there by himself? The obstacle he needed to finis consisted in crossing 4 or 5 swinging trunks, he was scare he said he couldnt do it, I asked the employee if there was any way he could come down with out crossing that obstacle, he said NO, so instead of him going up there and help my child, he stood there yelling at my son, telling hi to hurry up, after 10 minutes or so the employee finally went up, but still he didnt do nothing to help him. My son finally crossed to the other end, and was able to come down to the ground. This guy was more worried about his uniform getting wet, than helping my son, It is obvious that this place its not prepare for and emergency, they didnt know what to do. Then when we got to the office, they were looking at us, like we had done something wrong. We were soaked, there was water on the floor, and one of the employees made a comment, something like: Ohhh now we need to sell alligator mops, been sarcastic because he had to mop. Before we left I asked one of the guys, if it was possible to have 2 garbage bags, because I didnt want our car to get wet, omg I shouldnt have asked for that, cause that made him furious, he ended up giving me 2 small bags, I thanked him, and he just turn around and left. Seriously is that how you treat your customers, or you treated us like that because we are Hispanic, Im pretty sure if the boy crying up there had been White they had sent a bunch of people to help him. We spent $70.00 at this place, just to be treated like that, what a joke. If they are rude with with people, I dont wanna imagine how they treat the animals. It was a bad experience. I want my money back, cause it was not worth it to spent that amount of money for something we didnt even finish. You need to take some training in costumer service!! I contacted the Manager a week or so ago, never heard nothing back from him.

Awesome Adventure We visited the Zoo on July 4th while visiting St Augustine. The park is a 7 acre zoo that utilizes the space very well. Admission is about $25 and you can save a $1.25 by purchasing online. The Zoo has all 24 species of crocodilian that exist in the world (Alligators, Crocodiles, Cayman, etc). As you enter the park, the central lagoon area is filled with about 25 American Alligators. This is the location that they put on a feeding show and the informational discussion regarding alligators. There are some large alligators - up to 13 or 14 feet that live in this lagoon area. The rest of the park is divided into probably three areas (Land of Crocodiles, Birds of Africa, and Down Under/Komodo/Gomek exhibit area). The Land of Crocodiles has all the crocodilian species around the world, the Birds of Africa has lot of birds native to Africa, and the other areas have a Komodo Dragon, a very large saltwater Crocodile, a memorial area to Gomek (the parks previous record setting saltwater Crocodile) and a Swamp area that probably contains hundreds of alligators. The feeding isnt that entertaining, but the walkthrough discussion is really cool. A Zoo Keeper enters the Alligator Lagoon and walks around teach you about alligators and their behaviors. Best deal for keeping cool is the $6.95 large soft drink cup which has free refills all day. They have Powerade and Vitamin water in the fountain - so not just soda pop. The park has a large number of short zip line runs. We didnt participate, but they appear to be popular. This place is very cool - take a visit and enjoy.

The two of us did the short course for the zip line and it was fun took around an hour. I will never go back and pay them money for that again! We were pretty excited so we decided to buy pictures. We had to wait for the "photographers" to come back so they could print our pictures. We went to car checked our phones and I went back in not but 3 minlatrr and they were there so I proceeded to try and get our pictures and the man looked for 2 minutes then looked at us and said sorry the computer messed up we dont have your pictures nothing I can do, BYE! I was a little upset about that but the gentleman was quite rude about it. I called a manager after we left and she was the nicest person. She told us that she would talk to the photographer and she wouldnt crop out the numbers on the one pictures and send them to our email for us. We called back about 4 hours later because we have received anything yet and bounced through people for a random woman to tell us I called you for credit card information for the pictures. So I tried to explain about talking to a woman earlier and told me that if I was more nice about it she would of been glad to give the pictured for free. People have bad days there so I just need to deal with THEM and 65 dollars isnt anything for going in there so that I should be saying anything because I didnt spend a lot of money...like I said I did have a good time through the zip line but if you only do the halfcourse they apparently dont care about you because other people spend more

I have been visiting the Alligator Farm in St Augustine most of my life. This is a fun place to go see alligators and many other animals. There are a lot of educational things going on throughout the day. One of the most fun things to do there is the zip line. I recently took a trip on the zip lines with my family and we were able to see the entire park from above. This is definitely not the best zip line option in FL, but it is a great way to see this park. It is a little pricey, but I think its worth it. You can get a large discount if you purchase your tickets from ITT on your military base. The cost of the zip line is about half, but it does not come with entrance into the park. You can purchase tickets for the zip line and the park from ITT for less than the zip line that comes with park admission form the park directly. Overall fun option when in St Augustine whether you chose just the park, just the zip line, or both. The dining inside the park is good and very reasonable priced. You are not allowed to take cameras or anything that could fall. The photos that they offer are reasonably priced.
