After my visit today, I immediately fell in love with the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. You see & learn (much closer than you would in the wild) about the amazing birds of prey native to Florida. The staff and volunteers dedication to preservation and education cannot be compared, everyone there was so friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. The Center does a fabulous job of saving so many injured birds, through rehabilitation & release, and ambassador species & education, I was truly impressed by their dedication. I highly recommend this center to everyone, drop by for a visit, you wont be disappointed!

Absolutely wonderful experience, a variety of birds to view. Its not everyday that you can see a Bald Eagle, and I must say its one of the most magnificent birds to see in person. They have a nature trail, which I must say is short, and a nice little gazebo deck where you can view a lake. Overall a pleasant experience and the lady at the front counter, a volunteer named Linda was absolutely so sweet and you could tell the passion she had for the birds. Very sweet lady.

This a hidden gem in Maitland, Florida, where dedicated staff and volunteers rescue, rehabilitate and release Raptors back to the wild, if possible. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and more than happy to answer questions about birds of prey, and if you are lucky, you could get your photo taken with a resident Raptor. This is a photographers dream come true, in terms of getting a chance to photograph wild birds in a nearly natural setting.

All of the birds here are birds that were injured and are not able to be released back to the wild. Each year many birds are brought here to get help and heal. We really enjoyed our time here and especially enjoyed the guide book that told you the names and stories of each of the birds you saw. It was a small place but the volunteers were very friendly and shared a lot of information and it was great to visit.

These guys are amazing. They do a great service to Florida nature, the birds of prey in all of Central Florida and the local community itself. Go by and check out their feathered friends who are unable to go back to the wild due to various reasons. Its a very serene place right in our backyards. And if you get the chance to catch the parade at the end of the day, stay for it. Youll be very happy you did.

Wonderful experience! My son and grandson came to visit for the day and they loved it. The volunteers are so knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed hearing the background story of the birds that reside there. The short video was very informative and made us realize how much loving care goes into their rehabilitation. I will definitely go again .

I love the owls. Theres so many to look at. The have a red shoulder hawk near the house. Very interesting raptors to watch. I have a service dog and he was scared of the birds. So I only got to see a little bit. If you have a service dog be careful the birds puffs up and screams at the dog.

Really cool place to look at birds of prey. Fun informational guide provided. Interactive areas inside for kids (coloring, etc). Great access to many birds. There is alot to learn here about bird rescue and rehab. Most of the viewing areas are outside, so dress for the weather.

We went an hour before closing and got a nice "Bird parade" with introductions as they began to close. They told us about each Bird as they escorted them in for the night. It was awesome seeing hawks and eagles so close and personal. This team and facility is amazing!

Cool little place to see different brids up close. Bald eagles are pretty awesome. Only con is wish it was bigger...takes 15 minutes to walk thru and your done. Thought admission should of been $5 per person, but at least it went to a good cause to help injure birds.
