I was so excited about this experience. From the moment I walked in the door to pick up my ticket I knew it was going to be a rough night. The store was very busy and people were excited and talking to friends. We were immediately told that we had to be quite because she could not hear. I had a friend with a cup with her and she was told she was going to make them lose their license if their was alcohol in it. She was asked and yelled at by the same person at least 5x. Our boat was delayed by almost 30 min. We were not told ahead of time and had no idea we would be stuck waiting. An email of delay would have been nice. Once aboard there is 1 bar and 1 bar tender for 120 people. You do the math....If drinks were free I would understand but they are NOT. I had a friend order a drink and ask for orange juice instead of soda and she was charged a $2 up charge without being asked first. The speakers on the ship are as old as the boat itself. They are muffled and very unclear. You can barely hear anything. If they were new and nice it would way enhance the experience. The food was horrible. Overall it was a huge waste of money not something I would do again or recommend to anyone!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! And ignore the response from the owners that Im sure they will write, ofcourse theyll always have an excuse. Just look at the other reviews. My son and husband were set to go to a morning cruise one weekend and it got cancelled because there were not enough people. Nobody called to unform us of this change so they had showed up there for nothing. They rescheduled for today. We had a prior commitment that ran much longer than expected so my husband called to see if he could cancel and reschedule and they pretty much told him no hed be charged. Sooo after rushing and barely making it there they were told that the other ship was not running. That means NO pirate battle which was what my son was most excited about. But again if you cancel you still get charged so your forced to go or loose out on money. They went on the cruise and all they got was a terrible show of singing pirates. Complete disappointment and waste of money! If you want to watch singing pirates turn on your TV to Jake and the Never land pirates and youll get a better show.

We specifically detoured to St. Augustine, on our way to Orlando, just to ride the pirate ship with out grandkids. After spending the morning touring around town on the trolley tour (and hearing all about the pirate ship excursion from the guide) we were anxious to finally go on board. We had booked the 2:15 trip on July 9. There was never any battle with another pirate ship, no cannons firing, and the staff spent an extraordinary amount of time celebrating another little boys birthday. When we got back to dock some other costumed pirate came up the steps, never really got on board, and fought a brief sword fight. All in all, we were very disappointed in the experience. Not what was promised in the advertising. We spent $180 for a VERY expensive sunburn since it was 100 degrees that afternoon! On extremely hot days like that I would suggest you hand out a free cold bottle of water so people do not get a heat stroke, it wouldnt bite into your profit very much at all.

do not waste your money here def not worth the money we took our kids thinking this would be an awesome experience, and something more appropriate for our 3 & 4 year old, we were expecting a pirate fight and the kids get to join this is what we got a bunch of horrible singing that you couldnt understand the pirate fight last approx 1 min and its before you sail and they take the treasure and were supposed to go get it back (none of which happens) what we got in the open waters was a bunch a drunks dancing around taking selfies and talking no pirate stories no nada needless to say i was stuck at sea with a 3& 4 year with a bunch of drunken pirates ( the other families with children were also upset) its not kid friendly the adult one is for 8:15 they pushed us to a 6:15 cause what they also dont tell you is that if there isnt enough people they dont go out and you dont find out till 4 that DAY dont waste your time or money here.

Absolute worst customer service Ive ever had in my entire life. WASTE OF MONEY!!!! They have NO parking and the area has no where to park. I spent over an hour calling them to get advice on where to park. After spending over $100 for my family to go on the ship my husband ended up dropping us off and letting us go without him. They refused to even issue a refund for his ticket. I dont know what the lazy wenches at the front get paid to do but its certainly not to answer phones, be polite, or help customers. I will absolutely never spend a penny with this company again. Terrible experience. The actors on the boat were TERRIBLE. They spend the whole time singing and they have some of the worst voices Ive ever heard. The pirate dinner show in Orlando has considerably better actors not to mention way better customer service. They do not indicate on their site that they dont have parking. TOTAL RIPOFF. Do.not.spend.money.here.

My family decided to try it out while we were on vacation. Wed seen the boat before our previous trip to St. Augustine and we wanted to try it out. My mom had a bit of difficulty in getting us on the boat, but it we worked out in the end. The actors were brilliant, they were really good at improv. There were beverages for adults and kids alike, and everyone was entertained. The kids got face paint and got to swordfight the actors. At the end all the kids got a mini treasure chest of plastic coins, necklaces, and skull rings and the actors threw more coins and etc. to the kids. Some kids were super nice and threw some of their coins to the kids who didnt get any, then everyone got to take pictures with the actors. It was super fun. I HIGHLY recommend putting on sunscreen. I was stupid, didnt put any on, and I got burnt to a crisp out on the water.
