I was just there today and one of the workers for the park almost hit one of my children. I know it was one of CB Smiths own employees or an affiliate because she was driving one of the white service vehicles, a truck. For whatever reason, the moment I pulled under a shade tree in the grass, far clear of where anyone shouldve been parking anyway, unless they were invited to my picnic with my children, this black woman pulls up in one of CB Smiths service trucks under the same tree we were under, nearly missing one of my children. When I asked her why she almost hit my child, she seemed blasé. I asked her name, she said "Selena". Who knows how true this is. But as a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM CB SMITH PARK IF YOU DONT WANT THEM TO BE A POTENTIAL VICTIM OF VEHICULAR HOMICIDE AT THE HANDS OF THOSE EMPLOYED BY CB SMITH PARK. Trying to contact management was a joke. I tried to no avail. However, the public needs to be made aware of the negligence and reckless driving in and around CB SMITH PARK , and by the parks own workers- no less. I have been a big nature watcher/enjoyed for many years here at CB SMITH. Rented pavilions for birthdays, etc. So I report this, with great sadness and dissapointment: CB SMITH needs to hire more cautious workers/ drivers before they find a lawsuit on their hands at the very least. I wanted to give NO STARS to CB SMITH today, but this review doesnt give a zero star option. I wouldnt take my pet sewer rat to CB SMITH PARK , nor will I dare refer anyone to bring their precious children here ever again. That is, until they amend their hiring processes. Even when I called the office, I was placed on hold after asking to speak to a manager, waited, only for the same person to pick back up the phone. I guess that could have been the reckless driver .("selenas). office buddy attempting to cover for her. In any event, it incited me to post an honest review of my experience here today. Grossly disappointing. And to think, I actually OVER PAID my entry fee. I told the entry money taker with the purple hair to keep the change. I gave $2 instead of the $1.50, only to feel like I shouldnt have even paid ATTENTION to CB SMITH PARK. ($1.50 because children under 5 are " free). Maybe thats so they have more to potentially hit in the service trucks. At the very least, "Selena" needs to be fired immediately. Making it that much safer for everyone on CB SMITHS PARK GROUNDS.

Sunday 29th 2017 @the chilli cookoff Disregarding the fact of motorcycle cops being highly rude. (I was told a long time ago motorcycle cops are the worst... Theory is right) if u around Broward.. lets say just be safe... Cause cops are not a nice round here... And disregard the weather.... It hit the 50° and did not raised for nothing... Not sun... Rain was constant... And little wind here and there.... I wish the weather would of coop for me and my husband to walk around more and enjoy our very first chilli cookoff.... Hope next years it is better.... :) One thing it personally bothered me... (Like a lot) I noticed that since we were in line to get into the parking.... All the way inside where the park is... There was lots of trash... Believe me... Even when I drink I know not to liter not leave a mess... Driving Tru made me feel like I was driving Tru a very poor town somewhere in México.... (Yeah the amount of trash ppl leaving around was ridiculously a lot) sighs* Another thing that caught my attention (as I mentioned before ... First timers at the cookoff) so we prepaid the parking... And goin inside we were kinda lost not really knowing where we supposed to park... Little that we knew you just park anywhere.... (It will be helpful to have signs or something though) Food was pretty good... Had a chicken and beef pincho... Meat was tender!!! And very flavorful! Also had a funnel cake.... It was to die for!!! And of course... Had a hot dog.... Like I mentioned... Weather didnt helped so I didnt wanted to walk around as I was freezing .... (I was wearing sandals thinking the weather would change) The artist played pretty well and knew how to cheer the audience... It was and OK experience.. I think if next year we decide to go... We know what to expect...

I cant Believe the things Ive seen here today, I came to visit some campers we met here on our previous visit ,ive been coming to CB Smith Park for the past 8 yrs years we have raised 15 orphan and underprivileged children and the kids love it here. Last yr we were confronted by this guy said he runs this park , after a few words we figured he had issues and let it go , now we come to the park every weekend and see this guy yelling and getting in peoples faces , I thought he was fired last yr but to my surprise today I here someone yelling at some old lady about paying the wrong park for her space. Man what an a** ((( Chris Trujillo))) How did he get back here ?? Someone for the Broward County commissions office really needs to look into the park Terrorist and find out why he got back and still accosting and terrorizing the campers in this park , I know after writing this review we will have consequences from the management and me and my kids will be terrorized like the rest of the campers that fear him , today was the last straw as this lady was in tears the other campers came and all started comparing stories about the guy (( Chris Trujillo )) seems brian the senior manager is aware of his actions and continues to allow this, I think we will all go to the county this week and fix this problem with all these nice campers

Worst staff was there for 2 hours and the lazy river was closed then they told me I couldnt go on the slide because I had plastic clips on my trunks. Others are allowed plastic clips on there goggles but I cant have them on my trunks. They offer lockers and the keys are supposed to be around your wrist but those sharp keys are allowed down the slide also. The website and nothing online says you cant have plastic clips on your trunks. Then wouldnt even give me a refund offered a raincheck but will never go back because the staff are rude and disrespectful. Not to mention I went down the slide multiple times before being told I couldnt go down it. The manager told me well you knew before you entered that you couldnt have clips on your shorts. When there are no rules online saying I couldnt have clips. The park is small and only really caters to children. I wouldnt go to this park if your an adult and dont have children. I also called the customer service number and no one answered I left a voicemail with my phone number and no one called me back because they just dont care about there customers and the happyness of the park in general. So if your child gets hurt and expect a call back from customer suppport you will be waiting a long time because it wont happen.
