I would like to recommend this course its very challenging and the front desk man is very nice and friendly. The problem is the course and the clubhouse. This place needs a major influx of cash so they can remodel the course and clubhouse and repair there sprinkler system. The greens are half dead . The fairways are in dire need of attention, some of the fairways felt like I was playing on dirt. This could be a very nice place to play the course just needs tlc. It dose have a good price of 25$ with tax and the hot dogs are great.

Wonderful place in scenic Mount Dora, Florida to play golf! There are hills and valleys, flat fairways, fairway and greens traps, and one hole with water. Players vary from young to old, newcomers to golf to experienced players. Several local groups play there and are welcoming to new members. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are self-important and "snooty," go somewhere else. These folks love the game of golf and want to share it in good fellowship and camaraderie. Try it....youll like it!

Well this doesnt even deserve a star rating. I can not believe this place is still open. I have played here several times before and it was a nice course. This past Sunday though was disgusting and can not believe they would let people out. They clearly do not have irrigation system in place to take care of the course. Most holes were just dirt in the fairway, and the greens were so dried out most of it was patchy. Waste of my money and I will not go back there again.

Being from an Indiana elks country club l am used to nice fairways and fast greens. The first time l played here my experience was terrible. Greens were slow and bumpy. The new management is working hard to improve the course. After just 3 weeks the greens are filling in and rolling much better. Bob and his crew are working hard to make this a ,5 star course. Course lay out is a good test for any level of golfer. Pleasure to play.

Fun little course to play,would be a lot nicer if the greens were taken care of,I have never played on greens this wooly,or bumpy anywhere. I thought it was just a fluke,but went back a week later,they were still the slowest greens EVER!! The guy in the pro shop needs to take a charm school lesson,either that or get a job that he enjoys.He doesnt seem to enjoy the one he has now.

Prices are decent. But for a sub par golf course that is expected. The course has an absolutely fantastic layout that will challenge any level of golfer. However the course condition leaves much to desire. Young man working in the club house did not want to be bothered with much. Course condition is my real reason behind the 2 star review.

The "Old" course is making a come-back, with lots of support from loyal members. Lots of trees and shade that requires shot accuracy. Beauty and difficulty of the course reminds me of courses in Ireland and Scotland.

Horrible conditions. Course is disgusting. All weeds and dirt, no grass. Must be going out of business is my only guess. Not worth the $20. Gonna ask for a $15 refund.

If they have water available on this course, they arent using it on the golfcourse. I would hate to see it in the summer if it looks this bad in the winter.

I Play discourse 3 to 4 times a week it has dramatically improved. Greens are a marked improvement. Its a pleasure to play
