Mokai is very suspicious. Went there two nights ago with two of my friends and originally planned to go to Studio 23 which is right next door. Before the doors opened, we were approached by 2 men which I assume were promoters. They told us that Rick Ross would be performing and they gave us bands that with this band itll be $40 at the door with a free drink instead of the original $200(due to the special guest). Because Mokai was opening before Studio 23, we decided to go wait in line at Mokai. We were soon told that wed have to come back in the middle of the night and that ONLY those with reservations could be attended to first, which was understandable. However, we were in the area from 10:00 and it was it 11:10ish when we got back there. We left and came back around 11:45 or so just to see. We waited and waited and watched them let other people in who did not have reservations. Another thing we noticed is they were letting in girls from off the street. I dont want to sound like Im reaching but I noticed they werent letting Black people in, we know what we saw. Lastly, we met and became friendly with TWO 19 year old girls from Switzerland who those same 2 club promoters that gave us bands, promised theyd let in sneakingly, knowing they were ONLY 19. Last time I checked its a 21 & up club....I was shocked. We got tired of waiting and went next door instead. Trash doormen as well.

Order 2 drinks and them CHARGE ME $47.00 tip was included (5.50) ... WTH??.. bartender girl had F* attitude ..... Drink have just few drop of vodka, cant taste at all.... just cranberry juice... I asked the bartender and she rudely said vodka and cram .... my friend was waiting so i paid. I asked the bartender a receipt and she said we dont give a receipt.... and I told her I need a receipt and she give me piece of paper where say nothing.... was very dark and I just grabbed and go. Later I met a friends who bought a bottle of gray goose, that came already open ... My friend gave to the ladies right in the mouth as a shot and they said "I think that vodka is reduced with water"..... I take a shot and confirmed exactly it was no that strong .... anyway I comment to my friend about it but no body want complaint because we had a plane to leave the club and go to another because the atmosphere was terrible... music was suck, poor hip hop and reggaeton.... !!! THIS TYPES OF CLUBS HAVE TO CLOSE FOR GOOD ... !!!! WAS MY FIRST TIME AND NEVER BACK AGAIN !!!! SO YOU BETTER SKYP THIS CLUB... SAVE YOUR TIME AND A BIG HEADACHE !!!!

Locale sulla 23 di Miami Beach. Moooooooolto rigido sulla selezione. Donne obbligo tacchi alti e bella presenza soprattutto se vogliono entrare nella zona vip. Idem per gli uomini se non peggio contando che lingresso costa 40 e 70 o poco più per il vip. Donne gratis. Cmq bella gente dentro apparte il forte odore di erba non essendo proibito fumare allinterno come in ogni locale di qua. Non molto grande però ci si può passare una bella serata...

Went there with a few friends only by reference from a friend who lives in Miami ... from the get go you can see they only favor regulars and girls who they think are up to the club standards... even though I was able to get in they did not let my friend in who was a big girl so no questions asked we just left why bother to even waste my breath speaking to anyone she was cool with it she knows who she is and does not care what anyone thinks... so what I suggest to the owners and employees there please upgrade your outside doormen ( not sure it takes a college degree to do that for a living) but sure takes more then a $25.00 suite and tie. So please upgrade THANKS MUCH !!!!

I love this club. The staff here is amazingly friendly. Easy for guys to get in. The crowd is nice, the drinks are expensive but its Miami and a chic club. The place is small but it adds to the charm and experience. There is a small DJ stage which sometimes has big name DJs play at so its very intimate. The dance area is small but fun. It is really loud which is the only downside but I will keep coming back here. The bartenders also like to notify you how expensive a drink is before you order it which Ive never experienced elsewhere.

Worst club in south beach! I got there with a friend and Unfortunatly the doorman asked me 650$ to get in... why???? No line up! The club was not full... but this stupid doorman with a brain as a bean asked me for 650$ to get in ...lol! Real joke! I was ready to pay cover charge but he felt so cool to ask me that ridiculus amount. ..i hope the owner will kick that stupid doorman out of the club... To Bad i went there to enjoy the music and spending $$$ at the bar. .. Please owner! slap this jurk at the door. ..!! Thx Good client! ☺

The wost service EVER...kicking people out of the night club just because some Mexicans (fYI- did not know them at all) were at the VIP area and the club guards did want anyone near them ,flashing with the flashlight at people faces , like saying you got to leave or move . What kind of behaviour is that? Most likely those peeple will be a one time vist, but the club prefers to treat them better. I was no at the VIP, but we were a big group and we bought a lot of drinks. I will never go there again.

I have the best time everytime I go. Their weekday parties are just as great as their weekend parties. Its always a good looking crowd and the music is awesome. Their staff is really nice and helpful. I love when they do their confetti drop and the girls do their shows when the bottles go out. Its so fun to watch! The decor is beautiful. This place is a must go. Its one of the few clubs left on the beach that have maintained their status.

The worst doorman OMG Ill not go there again when you go out its for have fun and enjoy with your friend you didnt go in a club for wait 2 hours in front of it .. I think they dont understand that people are not a dog or chicken lol inside its small and therere a lot of drunk girls its boring they dont know how to drink so they do whatever they want they let fallen them alcool on the shoes its terrible. Ill never go back there.

Place is joke. Tools for door guys in cheap suits.. Specially the dude rockin the home do Mohawk. All looking for cash hand outs. Prejudice towards our black friends, would not let us all in. All very well dressed and locals. Dudes get smacked up for acting like that where Im from.. NYC. Been here before super small inside... Not worth your time or support of such racist garbage.

RUN AWAY!!!! even if you are awsome, top fashionned and with a beautiful girl but NOT an insider or a star valet, you will waste your time waiting in front of a haughty doorman wholl ask you $1000 for a table (!) to have the privilège to get in... big joke!! keep your money and give à $100 bill to the homeless at the corner, youll feel mutch better ;) by the way: music sucks
