After 20 plus years I decided to get back into the saltwater aquariums hobby. I knew a lot has changed in the past 20 years so I needed to find someone in the saltwater aquarium business that I could trust. Before I would buy my first saltwater aquarium I would have to study up on the latest and greatest and learn the hobby all over again. I was lucky to find VIP Reef. The owner and his staff are the greatest. If youre looking for a place that you can trust and wont get ripped off and have knowledgeable people that you can talk to, well look no further than VIP Reef. Originally I started with 4 bio cubes 30 gallons each. Now I have upgraded to a 275 gallon aquarium. I did all this within two years and with the expert help and advice from VIP Reef. If you want some example here are few. I wanted to purchase all the supporting equipment and the 275 gal aquarium at the same time. Some of the items I had picked for the aquarium was on the expensive side. The staff at VIP Reef advised me not to purchase some of the items I had chosen. Some of the other equipment was the top of the line and very expensive. I was given other alternatives that worked out better and saved me money. Over the same two years I want to buy some collector saltwater fish and I was advised not to for one good reason or another. Their suggestion was same for the live coral that I had purchased or decided not to. As of today my saltwater aquarium is doing fantastic. I like to say thank you too all of my friends at VIP Reef. Without there expert advise and hospitality, I would not be able to accomplish all that I did without the help of VIP Reef.

I have been a customer of this store for several years after being a customer of three other aquarium stores in the area. I can say that this is my favorite store. The owner, Frank, is extremely knowledgeable in this industry. For example, he researches, on his own time, the latest aquarium equipment in order to ensure his customers have the best equipment for maintaining their tanks. You would be shocked to know that most stores do not research the latest equipment thus leaving your tank in the dark ages. The best thing about him is that if he does not have something in stock (e.g., fish, equipment etc...) he will gladly order it for you with no hassle. Granted most stores will do the same but the difference is that Frank is prompt, responsible and efficient. His research and guidance helped my aquarium take off from a modest reef into a full blown reef tank with tangs, dwarf angels, wrasses, and corals from all around the world. The staff is also friendly and knowledgeable. The store also contains freshwater fish. In case if anyone is wondering, I have a 210 gallon aquarium which Frank installed in December 2009.

After my husband passed just over 4 yrs ago, rock flower anemones were the FIRST items I deemed beautiful and remarkable while I was grieving. So naturally rock flowers mean very much to me- made me feel hopeful somehow. And so I came across VIPReef in my search for flowers. I remember Frank telling me that the variations coming out of the ocean were just extraordinary, and that every year it was morphing into new colors and patterns. I knew Id have to visit. So I drove from the NC Mountains to Miami to learn about the shop and wonderful staff that have always answered every question Ive ever shot in an email. VIPReef is worth it. I stood in awe while I opened the freezer and saw all the frozen items. Id never seen so many gorgeous fish or corals in one location. They have ALWAYS made me feel like their number one priority: asking me when I want items sent out, being conscious of the weather, and one instance pointing out to me that I was $4 away from free shipping. It is such a pleasure to buy from VIP REEF and I have the utmost respect for this business family. Youre doing it right!

Love this place. I have upgraded my tank twice and looking forward to my next one. Bigger will come soon enough. Their show tanks are definitely a goal i will surely reach soon in mine. The knowledge and experience they have is surely why i have been able to achieve my goal little by little. We are very impressed with the quality, and amount of selections in stock at VIP Reef Aquarium. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about all of the fish, corals, chemicals, and equipment. We use to visit many aquarium shops, but VIP always had such a big selection we dont Coral Hop any longer. You must visit here at least 1 time to see this for yourself! I forgot to mention the prices are really good also!

The staff at VIP is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have everything that you need to build a successful aquarium. Once your aquarium is ready, there is a variety of fish and corals available at VIP. They offer salt and fresh water for your water changes as well as cleaning service and aquarium installations. I have been shopping at VIP since 2011, and I am very satisfied.

Five years ago I was totally new to Salt Water Aquariums. I went to many stores and finally decided to build my 250 gallon tank with VIP Reef. I knew nothing about caring for corals or fish. Love this store. Have been visiting VIP reef since they first opened. Carlos is the best. He always takes good care of us, but in general every employee is amazing. We mainly buy fish and corals from them. Their selection is fenomenal. Love VIP reef.
