Theres so much to love about this park - its view of the downtown skyscrapers, the lake with the fountain in the middle of it, the playground for the kids, the vendors of elote or ice cream or hot dogs, and the wide array of people it attracts. Whenever I come here, I always seem to find free parking on the street. Its a nice place to walk or run because theres a sidewalk that runs around the park/lake. I knocked off one star because there is a fair amount of pet owners who dont pick up after their dogs. If jogging around the lake, keep an eye out or youll be taking home some very smelly shoes.

This park has definitely changed for the better over the years. My only complaint are the sand at the playground (mulch or a flat rubber surface seems safer and more sanitary for kids), and the fact that the restrooms are almost always out of hand soap. Other than that, the park is very nice. There are plenty of tables. This is a great place to run or jog. There is exercise equipment here. There is a tennis court, as well as a volleyball net. There is lots of parking. Its not easy to get bored at this park. Its a great place for kids and adults.

I have been walking this park since 2014 it is always clean...the Park Manager is an older African American male I never got his name but he is always alwaysnvery pleasant. The upkeep of the facilities are commendable. My daughter loved to play on the swings while i do my 15000 steps. The families are there with their kids who are very well mannered.

This park is a wonderful place to have a pic nic. Our church, St Matthews Freewill Baptist, has been having our annual Summer revival pic nic at this park for YEARS. The pavilion is big enough, there are plenty of space to serve the food& cook the food(two grills), & space for plenty of activities for the children.

Great park for all outing activities. Great place to go jogging and exercising. Has tennis courts, playground for kids. They now have a swimming pool for swimming classes. Shelters for parties. Very friendly environment. Truly a hidden gem. Been going here for years

Hidden gem in the West Little River area. There are walkpaths, grills, area for kids, tennis courts, and cabans available for reservations. Great for a walk in the park, or a special events.

Great park for kids. Playground is far from the exits so theres room for the kids to run around without fear of them running into the street.
