Just witnessed a little boy get his throat choked by his father in an extremely violent manner. The child then pushed down by his hand and shoved under a table where the child hid for the next hour crying. The staff employee that was told about the incident acted completely unprofessional and rude. Another lady there called the Melbourne Police. When the police arrived they paid absolutely no attention to the child and his well-being, didn’t examine him for marks and actually didn’t even realize he was still hiding under a table right behind them while they spoke with the father, who actually was able to trick the police completely into thinking he only grabbed the back of the child’s neck (to press a relaxation pressure point). Not only was it unbelievable to see Police behave in such a naive and ignorant manner, they actually ended up threatening to arrest and trespass the other families that were concerned about the child’s safety. I pray that that child doesn’t continue to get strangled. And after hearing some of the police’s threats, I sincerely hope the Melbourne Police get more training on Florida State Law. Don’t spend $300-400 like one family did because god forbid you witness someone get choked or stabbed, you’ll be banned from the building after paying them for Terrible customer service. And evidently threatened by the police for any reason the criminal can make up. Ha. Wow. I wasn’t even involved in this but it’s just disgusting how awful these cops behave and how little they know about enforcing the actual “Law”.

Walked into Shore lanes today for the first time looking for a good place to bowl in the area. Well I found it. Great specials and great staff. However I was sceptical after reading the review below. Boy was I amazed at how uterly rediculous that review was. The pro shop was well equiped with everything a bowler needs and the staff just amazing. Martin was the guy working today and not only did he take the time to listen to what I need but also offered suggestions on what may work better for my game regardless of price. I did not once feel pressured to by anything and feel better about my purchase. Martin also had others in the shop he was helping at the same time all while drilling a ball for a thrilled little girl that he took the same time and care fitting for her entry level ball as he did the more experienced bowlers. I have found my go to shop and the right guy to handle all my drilling and maintnence needs. Thanks again for all the help.

My wife and I walked in and asked how much it would cost to drill an undrilled brand new ball. The first thing out of the kids mouth was where did you buy it and did you get online ?..?!?! What difference does that make?..!?!..... Then my wife asked how long they were holding a "Holiday Special" that they are having on a combo of things Ball,Bag Shoes...His Reply? "Through the holidays"...and looks at us like we are lower than him..Well, Mr. Salesman..We are in the market for five ( 5) adult bowling balls and shoes and bags as we are just now getting back into bowling..Guess who WILL NOT be getting our money....?...Pro Shop here from what we saw..Just a bunch of bowling SNOBS.....But Im glad we found out now before I spent my money there....Place sucks..

The staff is friendly and the coaches there are quite good. The Pro Shop is very helpful. The food isnt bad for a bowling alley. The beer prices are good. The cocktails arent very good though. The coffee is awful but it is cheap. They have specials often so a family can bowl for not much. This place is clean, and needs, the lanes are in good shape comma and it is rare for a ball not return. The only real complaint would be that the bathrooms are in dire need of being updated.

This is a really nice bowling alley. Well maintained lanes, friendly staff, reasonable prices. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is the music they play over the loud speaker system is absolutely atrocious. So bad it effects my bowling. I actually heard "Stanky Leg" 3 times in one night, no joke. Its like walking into the movie Idiocracy....a nightmare for the soul. Ok... Ive made my point. Otherwise, great place.

This is a decent bowling alley with an arcade and lounge included. Parking lot could use a little help (potholes) and cleanliness is obviously not a top priority, but its a good place to take the kids for a few hours of fun. Word of warning....bring and use only cash, no credit or debit cards! Multiple people I know (myself included) have had their credit card info stolen and sold after visiting.

Shore Lanes Bowling center was a great experience for my friends and family. The bowling center was clean, well lit, and the staff were extremely accommodating to any of our needs. Also, the bowling store attendant was very informative about the equipment they were selling. Altogether it was a great experience. Keep it up Shore Lanes you are the best.

Great place to bowl! they have 40 lanes so theres almost never a wait to get a lane. Mens bathroom on North side of place is gross and has a hole in the wall, loss of one star. There is never a problem and they never run out of sizes. Overall, this place is great!

This building is extremely run down on the outside. Im still giving five stars, the employees were attentive and helpful (even when I exchanged my shoes three times to find the right size!). Its much better looking on the inside.

Pretty nice bowling alley. They have daily specials that are really good. Lanes are fairly new and pretty descent snack bar. Pro shop is nice and the local pro, Marty, is a nice guy to get advice from and fixed up a ball of mine.

Over charged us and then expected us to pay MORE after bowling. They also didnt have enough shoes, and had us wear to big of shoes while others got to wear their street shoes. Never going back.

Bowing was fun but the bathrooms are disgusting and ran down beyond disbelief. As much money they charge to bowl, the bathrooms should not look the way it does.

Those bathrooms be gross yo. And their water fountain is a pipe sticking out the wall. Bowling is cool though if you dont need to use the bathroom.

$20 to rent the pool table, and I was fouled in bowling for no good reason. I will never come here again. And the place smells weird.

Followed league play so lanes were conditioned. There was a good outside shot that was repeatable. Center was clean and well lit.
