I dont know why this is called a natural area ..I saw a bunch of migrant worker types spraying pesticides one day all over the walking trails throughout the park with a blue die in it.I felt sick after walking around there. They could not speak good english but told me they are spraying pesticides to kill weeds in there. Why would they be spraying poison in a natural area?No sign to warn and protect the public or anyone supervising them. The pesticide will make your eyes water and cough. It also burns your skin when you touch it or it gets on your skin. The workers dont even know what they were spraying or had any safety sheet with them on site which is the law.People and wildlife could be getting sick by being exposed to this stuff..Who is responsible for this?

If you do 10-12 miles like we do, expect to see some wet spots in the summer months. B+ hike during rainy season, C+ when dry. Bring all your needs.

trails could use some work. got scraped up pretty bad from overgrowth. not a bad spot to visit if you live within a couple of miles.
