A piece of history, of what ever is left of the Everglades in South Eastern Florida. Looks like the county created a some what recreation of what it once naturally looked like in this part of Broward County. Although there isnt much to look at, it is big open space with a trail to run, jog or hike. If you are into history that dates back to the days of the Native American Indians, the Spanish and early Florida pioneers, youll want to stop at the sign posts through out the trail. The park even has a remaining foundation of what once was the homes of the property owners back in the early 1900s. Check it out for a nice peaceful day out.

I love this park, its located just across my house i could even go walking there if i wanted to, they open early and close about 7 or 8pm not sure most of people go here to exercise, walking, jogging or just see the nice green area and the nice lake from time to time you could see some turtles popping out their heads from the water and iguanas running scare in front your path whenever see you passing by, anyway its just nice to see a little of green natural area.

Beautiful! I cant believe that this beautiful park has been so close to me all these years and Ive never been there until today! Birds I saw: Anhinga, American Coot, American Crow, Common Moorhen, Great Egret, and Ibis. Also saw an iguana and some turtles. Driving directions given from this app were wrong, though. The parking lot is accessed from SW 62nd Avenue near SW 38th Street, just north of the Winn Dixie on County Line Road.
