We go to Welcome to Rockville every year. This year I was pretty mad. They put the VIP area around the restrooms so there was no way to get to running water. I have medical issues that leave me unable to sweat, I was at the mercy of drink vendors to wet a towel I wet my skin with and spent most of both days hanging out at the mist fans. And missed alot of the bands I paid to see. I under stand they are trying to keep people from re-filling water bottles to make more money. But the drinks are $3 for water really! Good to Sams club next year get there brand sell for $1 still make a ton of money off it. If this April is like last year, then it may be my last Rockville

The MARINA is a great hide-a-way while cruising the St Johns river. The city of Jacksonville has a gem of an offer here for boaters. Free pump out. Electric for less than $9 per night. 3 night max. For ballgames it is great space for that fun, but cruisers - it wouldnt be, but you wont get a space anyway unless booked in advance. Bathrooms CLEAN, no showers or laundry. Parking great, safe and well lit. Safe for our friends to park over night. Bonus was a music festival at park with free entrance, and we could hear it while on boat. The park itself is the best venue, but the white tent needs some TLC. Take advantage of this JACKSONVILLE.

This outdoor venue for concerts is ideal we have many concerts that comes through the Welcome to Rockville big ticket as well as others it also hosts a couple of the other major events of Jacksonville such as the World of Nations where you get to experience Multicultural food here on the First Coast it really is a fun place for the whole family and I really enjoy seeing shows here

People bring aggressive pit bulls in the park and leave them in the basketball court unsupervised because they attack other dogs. Had to tell one of The owners to take his dog out of the small dog park and he said he has to take his dog there when it is empty because his dog is aggressive. So why would you bring your aggressive dog to the dog park.

I hope this area never gets closed down. Gorgeous little area for events in the downtown area. This will be a vital spot to keep going in order for downtown to survive in the future. This place needs to be packed at least once a month with new events. Would be awesome if they had something going on each weekend. Good spot for outdoor music concerts.

Met Park goes back a long way with me as it probably does with many thousands of others in the Jacksonville area (and even internationally when they have big festivals!) and each time Ive come to the park for an event, its always a spectacular time. I hope to keep coming back and enjoying time with my friends as we celebrate the gift of music.

I was here for the Welcome to Rockville festival as a tour bus driver. I had plenty of parking and the staff was really organized from my perspective. I stayed on site for the day and had the BEST full day of music in YEARS. IDK what the park is like aside from this frst, but it seemed big with decent facilities.

Heres a blast here for both welcome to Rockville and oyster jam festival(that event had issues unrelated to the area) Only two ATMs that we could find and one set of bathrooms was our only complaint. Lots of area for the events we participated in so plenty of areas to just sit back and relax or walk and enjoy.

Metro Park is so lovely! It has so many great points...its by the water, the layout plan is nice with shaded seating throughout & the performance arena for events. Very calming to go & chill when no events are bustling there.

I went during Rockville and if youre ever there and dont have the money for bottled water... I strongly recommend the water from the hose or the bathroom sink. Its cold and doesnt have that metallic tap water taste.

Went three years for a music festival here. The place gets very muddy and there is very little shade from the scolding heat. But Jacksonville is a beautiful city and you can get a great view of it from here.

A large venue! A bit confusing to access entrances from parking if youre unsure where youre going. Shade is always below the underpass but its way back there. Prepare to bake.

They host the welcome to Rockville here every year. They have access to water blocked across the park with a single low flow drinking fountain for a 100000 plus crowd.

This has been the ending for a lot of walks and runs downtown. It retains water after a rain event, but the space is pretty and appropriate for large events.
