I go to this bowling alley all of the time; its my second home. But my view is skewed because i started going when the nice people work there, and knew me as a regular and allowed me to hangout and play video games. i have noticed recently, with a few ne employees, that they are unecessarily rude and aggressive about faux rules. And things that you just let kids and families pass by. But i love this place because its so unconventional, and dirty, and weird, for a one time experience,, itd be smart to maybe shop around for a bowling alley, but you also dont go bowling for the customer service unless youre at latitude thirty. you go there to bowl, or to play arcade games. its a nice play to go all the time, bute for once, youll be okay skipping out on this home of mine.

I recommend that you pay with a credit card if you can, so you get a receipt, and keep close track of your games. I dont know if its a bad system they are using, or the employees are incompetent and not good at simple math, but I was overcharged for 2 games last night. I think they might have a system in place to deliberately try to trick people out of money, hence the copious amounts of No Refund signs everywhere, and unhelpful employees at the rental desk. Beware of your game being cut off in the middle and being told your game wasnt paid for. And then when you pay again, you still get cut off again before the end of the game. Not a good end to an otherwise fun evening. The lady at the snack bar was great and the food was good.

I attempted to get information about this bowling alley on June 5, 2009 and the man who answered basically wasnt interested in my business. He shared that Tuesday (the day of interest) was a league night but they dont take all of the lanes. I asked if it was otherwise busy. He said, "its a normal Tuesday." I havent any idea was a "normal Tuesday" is there. Im attempting to bring a group of people and dont want to show up only to find there are not any lanes available. Very poor customer service and I didnt even get to the door. Dont think theyll ever get my business. Not recommended.

The only people that were polite was the lovely ladies at the snack bar. The man working the counter was extraordinarily rude and did not deserve to be in a "managerial" position. Or so he told us. Called to complain to the Center manager Holly and she was even more rude and defended her employee with the "they dont do anything wrong" attitude. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will never come here again. Way to go Jax Lanes your facilities are nice but your staff suck.

Just left this place and left shortly after arriving. My wife asked the employee on duty if she could get an 8 lb ball and was told that they are only for small children. We bowled one game and her wrist began to hurt so I politely asked the guy if we could get one and he rudely told me no. So we left, I prepaid for three games and we only bowled one. That was the most expensive $33 game of bowling ever. We will not be back and i recommend not spending your hard earned money here.

My 3 brothers and I bowled on 2 Sundays in a row. That little boy behind the counter, threatened us the first Sunday . On the second Sunday, the same boy was rude to us. My family has known the owner for decades, but we will not return to Jax Lanes, unfortunately. ..Im truly sorry Mr. Artie Ettlinger...Hope your doing well...Scott Starr...Crazy Elliot.

I wish there was an option for zero stars... my experience was I walked in and instantly was rudely addressed by some jerk. I immediately left and went to the other bowling alley about 7 minutes down the road. The people were much nicer and friendly. I suggest bowl America not this place.

Great location for friend and family outings. Friendly staff and standard concession stand. They serve beer all day and liquor after 5:30. Different themed nights throughout the week. Would recommend calling ahead as some days/times are restricted to league practice.

It was very crowded but the employees handled everything well and with Grace. Were willing to answer questions, even though it was extremely busy. Ended up registering with a Church Bowling event. It was an amazing experience. Had a great time!

Inexpensive extra bowling for league bowlers. Downside is they keep the oil pattetn a secret so its only good to ptsctice hitting your mark, not for practicing to becvome a better competitive player.

If you get there before 9 pm you get 3 games and shoe rental for $10. The lane we were on kept acting up though so we had to get it reset a lot. I still had a good time though.

Another decent bowling alley with much little to offer but still a good spot for a quick bowl and some fun. Not my first choice of a hang out but still not a bad place to be.

Staff is EXTREMELY friendly. Do not like that the center closes sometimes in the middle of the day for special events. May want to call ahead and make sure they are open.

Big place, nice bar area thats separate from the bowling alley. When we went there on a Saturday night there was a 1 1/2 hour long wait, which is kinda ridiculous.

If you are a real bowler dont go on Sundays. They dont oil the lanes and you will throw your arm out. Like bowling on cement.
