Attended my first concert, The Gator Girls, on Thursday November 12, 2015. This was my second time there, and it will be my LAST time, EVER, going to The Ranch. WHAT A JOKE! All the advertising, for this concert, said "Doors open at 7 pm." Well we got there at 6:55 pm and see only a couple people waiting in line. We got in line, we waited, waited some more, then waited even more. Finally at 7:20 pm, using my cell, I called The Ranch. The woman whom answered stated, "doors open at 7," so I asked her why I was still standing outside, in line, at 7:20. She began to hesitate and muttered something about a meeting. Shortly thereafter, sweating and tired of waiting, we were allowed to pay $5 and enter. Now the real waiting began. Thinking the concert may begin at 8, we got our drinks and found suitable seating. While we were waiting, we took note that the stage was setup for an acoustic concert. Funny (not really), but the advertising said nothing about being only an acoustic concert. Then, 8 pm came and went, so I asked the barmaid "what time does the concert start." She said "9 pm." Well, at 9 pm, everyone began running about with anticipation and excitement. It wasnt the start of the concert, but rather, they (the owner, Jim, and all his little friends, buddies, and/or relatives) began taking people back for the "Meet and Greet." Seems like they could have done this at 8 pm, instead of leaving the rest of the crowd to stand or sit there, since 7 pm, for more than 2.5 hours, waiting. OK, so the concert finally begins at 9:40 pm! No wait, Gator Country, FM 101.9 has to do their little promotion, give out a few can coolies, and introduce the Gator Girls. Frankly, Im surprised Gator Country even associates with this "The Ranch" operation. Now, the concert. Apparently The Ranch crew didnt have enough time to setup and sound check the stage and equipment. Poor Lauren Alainas microphone wasnt working. Hello! tap, tap tap! Sound check anyone? Almost an hour into the concert, they managed to get her a working mike. How embarrassed I was for Fort Myers. These girls have performed all over the country, and this is the best we have to offer, The Ranch. Thanks but NO thanks!

Dont bother going if youre not single. If you arent funding the underage girls behind you, theyll bribe the bouncers with their bodies. Drinks are overpriced, apparently if youre tall and front row in a concert, the bouncers will kick you out in exchange for getting some hanky panky from someone who cant see over your head. Cheap ticket price for mainstream bands Will draw people in, but the fact during concerts its around $8 for double, is ridiculous considering Im fairly certain the well is $10 for 2 liters. Even during said concerts, had to deal with an obscene amount of tobacco smoke. By all means smoke, but acting like everyone attending a cheap concert doesnt have asthma is asinine.

Good layout, decent viewing of stage from just about anywhere. I enjoyed the inovative separate smoking and non-smoking sections all located indoors, I smoke so its nice not to be treated like 3rd class and made to stand outside, behind the building, 500 feet from everything, I can choose which section to hang out in easily. Good sound and lighting for the concert also. Finally, its layout flows well so that its not all asses and elbows all crammed up at the bar, u can walk around without bumping into everyone everywhere.

First visit to The Ranch Saturday night to see KC & Modern West. Awesome performance! However, was not aware smoking was allowed. Staff indicated that there is a designated area, but individuals were smoking throughout the entire hall. Surprised Kevin Costner didnt make a comment. It was obvious his band was playing in a blue haze. Will likely not return. Sad!! We love country music!!

I love it . The concerts are fun I only been to one but got more to come I am super excited to see whomever I am a huge country love this is one awesome place. I also love the bartenders well only a couple that I really have been with but other staff too have been super friendly and not bad prices either. I am new to the Florida area so far so good..

This place serves watered down drinks my girl had 3 gin and water, never felt a thing, I would think when you order any alcohol with water you should be able to taste the alcohol. I believe they water down there bottles of alcohol which last I knew was against the law. Just saying!

Nice place but bartender decided that a 10 dollar tip on a 25 dollar bill wasnt enough and charged an additional 20 dollars for all her "hard" work of making two drinks n walking out orders of food to us, last time I go there shameful and very disgusted that they pulled that on me

Im giving it 3 stars for the venue and the staff. Just order wine or beer. Mixed drinks are not worth the cost. Dont order a double, not worth it. Went back and ordered a shot to add to my drink and it was far from a shot. I stopped tipping after the second drink.

The Ranch is one of the more enjoyable concert halls in SW Florida featuring top acts from all over the planet. They also donate their time & space to wonderful dog rescue organizations like Baileys Way in Fort Myers. #respect

Saturday night, summer time, was charging a cover. There was a dozen people inside at 11 pm. They should not charge people to come in to drink on a dead night

Great music, however, I did not realize that smoking was allowed indoors. Very unfortunate, because others smoking made it hard to enjoy the atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and awesome service. It was quite a bit crowded the day i went but the bartenders were working hard to please everyone.

Staff is friendly. A lot of space so you dont feel crammed in. Seat are not very fat friendly.
