Great park with many different features! Theres boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and probably much more! I had been there for a BBQ years ago, and hadnt been for ever! But today, something told me to get out of my place since it was such an amazingly beautiful day! So along we went...I happened to have taken the wrong road and passed the boat docks to end up at a small secluded water are where people sat along the water and mangroves in beach chairs, in their pick up trucks and sunbathed or just hung out by the water. It wasnt really what we were looking for so we kept going. We found the beach area right by the restaurant. We found parking right up front and walked right in, parked next to a life guard stand and enjoyed a panoramic vision of the view. The beach area is smaller than your typical open beach but big enough to give everyone there plenty of space to lay out and swim. We stayed for about 2 hours, swam in the dark green water and had a great time under the beautiful blue sky! What a great way to be at a beach and not have to worry about the hustle and bustle of Miami Beach on a Holiday weekend which equals craziness!! Our time was well spent there and it was exactly the perfect thing to do today! : ). Cant wait to enjoy again. Parking is paid by the parking app. There was plenty of parking in the lot. There are 3 life guard stands along the beach which now I would refer to more as a lagoon because it is more like a lake like body of water than an open beach with waves! Nevertheless the less, which ever name you wanna call it by, it is a cool little hang out and very close to me! : ) One thing I forgot to mention is that there are no frisbees or other things that you throw, allowed at the beach! Of course we only noticed that after throwing the frisbee around for about 10 minutes, LOL!!!

This park has the perfect enclosed beach area protected from waves for the little ones. 3 lifeguard shacks. Kids 6 & under must have adult with them at all times in the water. Parking is paid by meter, print receipt & put on dash. You can see Downtown Miami skyline from here. There were a few of people kite surfing outside the beach area. I believe you can rent from the mobile trailer on site. The boat launch ramps are busy on the weekends. Pay by meter. Theres a water spout to hook your own hose to spray down your boat. Theres restrooms onsite, plus fish cleaning area(cement slabs) to fillet your catch.

Un lugar paradisíaco! Árboles y mar se dan la mano para proporcionar momentos inolvidables en contacto directo con la naturaleza. Para pescar es uno de los mejores lugares de Miami, sobre todo por su abundancia de Mangrove Snapper y pargos cajies. Lo recomiendo con 5 estrellas!

The actual beach is nice for the kids, but I was not happy with the changing room if you can call it that, it was just an open hut and the urine stench was unbearable and the winner was the grill that is not open until later in the day and no beach clothing is allowed ??? For who ever dont mind the drive I would recommend the homestead Bayside park, the beach is the same, the changing rooms and restrooms are really good and the best is the grill, is open all day and the food is pretty good and they have common sense and they dont mind beach clothing.

This is a great park. In my opinion it is one of the better ones in Miami, especially during the week days. It has a beautiful park, with picnic areas and a lot of wildlife that comes out when there are fewer people around. The beach park is nice as well with a protected swimming area. The facilities located around the park are clean and well maintained. This place does get very busy on the weekends and parking does become an issue. This park is located right on Old Cutler Road and you can park elsewhere and ride a bike :)

This is our best family beach and picnic area... Dry calm, easy to get to, no loud music and lots of calm water... Easy to swim and wade without worrying about waves and undertows.... Lots of shade from beautiful palm and coconut trees... The best part is the enclosed lagoon that is the best for kids. You have line of sight everywhere and no risk of losing the kids... Beautiful areas to take photos...

Love Bature? You will love this park. 5 bucks per car. Great picnic areas, the beach area is protected and beautiful. You can rent kite surfing equipment and take lessons, so simply watch the action. I like to rent kayaks and do in the mangroves and canals, and there are plenty of SUP trips there are well. Fishing is good here.

Garden area with ponds is very nice to relax and view the nicely managed ponds. Nice feral population of red agama lizards. Swimming area requires fee and is nice but not great. No changing or showers for after swimming. At least, no obvious ones. Bathrooms clean and you can get hotdogs and hamburgers at concession stand.

This Place is the best in South Florida, but only when there are guys on duty administering the ramps and giving directions.... if not !! watch out its crazy.... not as bad as black point but just a little nuts... My last visit I was blocked in by two trucks it took hours to get my truck and trailer out of the mess.

Beautiful park, inserted on a Beatutiful neighborhood and providing a beautiful view of Miami Beach skyline and beaches. Excelent place for photographs. They charge a small fee to enter the park, but they also provide a goos infrastructure with restrooms. But dont forget to bring your own food

Beautiful beach for children. This beach is clean, shallow and has life guards on duty. It is a man made beach with fresh sea water which comes in through the tunnels. It is private, but not too expensive to enter. Even when it is in the 90s the beach is always cool. I guess it is the location.

Amazing place for the kids and sport activities, an island of water shallow surrounded by the beach sand and cross walk, so you dont worry about your kids playing in the water. Plenty of parking (paybyphone) also two different locations available for reservation to do an event
