How Can We Help

Give it a try. Its much bigger than it appears from the highway. Theres plenty for kids to do. They even have chickens you can feed & pet. Theres a room called the Touch of History if your child likes to play "teacher" or play "cook" in a kitchen. Little kids play for hours in this room. Also great for birthday parties. Plan on spending an hour or more visiting both indoor exhibit areas & the outdoor 1890s Village on Silver Lake. Come on in and visit, you wont be sorry. No one is ever disappointed! This is not a State run Museum so they need your support!

We were greeted by Valerie who was very friendly and informative. She gave a plate of veggies to feed Lulu the pig and chickens. This is a great place for family of any age group. The gift shop had a variety of items and there is art for sale from a local artist. There is a small fee and you can use AAA for minor discount.

Attended a wedding held at the grounds of the museum. During the downtime, we were able to walk around and explore the complex. It was very fascinating and 1 hour was not enough to see everything here. I would highly recommend stopping by, especially if you have children.
