We were fortunate to go to the opening night of Aida last night, and it was great! We had never been to Jesters and have to admit to being a bit hesitant to go to a dinner theater. Im glad we did though. While its obviously a small, local venue, it is also good. The food is decent and the play was powerful. The actors did a great job with an interesting story. The woman who plays Aida showed the depth of the character and has an amazing voice. She sang the songs with the strength that is appropriate for the complex and sometimes defiant character! I also enjoyed the choreograpjy. All-in-all, I will definitely go back and would definitely encourage others to see Aida if they live in the Longmont area. Jesters also does kids plays that could be fun if you have little ones. We dont, so well head back to see another play and maybe check out their comedy night at some point.

If you enjoy a humble theater experience, if you want to experience the "lets put on a show" feeling in person, Jesters is the place to go. The showroom seats barely 100, and most tables are within 20 feet of the wide, shallow stage. The crew perform amazing replications of complicated musicals with just this tight space, liberal use of the theater aisles for entrances and exits, and an offstage live piano. You might see your dinner server on stage before the evening is over. Tickets are available with or without dinner, and upgrades are available if, for example, you prefer prime rib to lasagna. Drinks and desserts are also available before the show or at intermission. Parking is easy and free at an adjacent lot in downtown Longmont. Especially if you can find discount tickets (Google it), Jesters is a fun community theater experience thats worth the time and money.

We attended comedy night. I ordered the French dip sandwich. I specifically said to my friend "you cant go wrong with a French dip sandwich right?". Oh my, I was WRONG! I couldnt even eat it despite being super hungry. I was served a weird slab of inedible meat on a soggy dissolving hotdog bun with horseradish sauce (no mozzarella cheese that was mentioned on the menu). It was labeled as a sandwich but there is absolutely no way anyone could have picked it up and eaten it as a sandwich. No way. Gross. Frozen vegetables were served on the side and sadly, the only somewhat edible thing on the plate. Shame on you, Jesters, that was not acceptable and I will not be back. Disappointed is an understatement. Second worst dish in all of my dining out experience.

I enjoyed seeing Music Man here. I see a lot of shows in Chicago & New York, but its nice to see a smaller theater production. I got my ticket for dinner, off of Goldstar, which stated the show starts @ 7:30pm. I was not aware, that dinner service stops 15 minutes before Showtime. The servers are also in the production. Anyway, I got very upset with the host, which was childish of me. But they host sat me anyways and the server took my order, 5 minutes before Showtime. So if you do get a ticket from Goldstar, its best to show up 30 - 60 before listed Showtime.

Wow! First of all, Jesters is the most intimate theater my husband and I have ever been too. Its perfect. The stage is just right, the cast works together like they are all family, and everyone is so down to earth! We saw Beauty and the Beast and it was amazing:) we went for our 5 year anniversary and am so happy we chose to go to Jesters. Everyone did a phenomenal job portraying their parts. We both were happy with our meals too! After the show, most of the cast were walking around and talking to the audience. Great place and great price!

We had 7 grandchildren ages 5 to 15 with us when we attended the Christmas Dinner Theater "Scrooge, Bah Humbug". We were given a nice table, children could see and hear everything. The food was very fine, and the play well presented. They even referenced (ad-lib) the Bah Humbug shirts that all kids were wearing. I would certainly attend again - with or without children. Well worth the price. Only negative was that the location was a bit difficult to find due to road work, and parking somewhat limited when unfamiliar with the area.

What a great experience! We came to Beauty and the Beast and let me tell you how impressed I was with the performance. My daughter giggled throughout it and stayed entertained as well as the adults. We will be returning for the 2017 to 2018 season! We didnt realize they offered a full menu prior to showing up, we had eaten dinner before getting there. I can not rate the food, except, the root beer float, which was great!! Afterwards Belle took a picture with my kiddo which made her night ! Great experience all around!

The theater is small and not very fancy, but it was comfortable for the most part. The food was pretty good, but not spectacular. The drinks were good, but nothing to write home about or to crave again later. The service was haphazard. Everyone was friendly though! However, the show was awesome! Very well done and they spread out all across the stage and even moved through the guests at times. The tickets and food were reasonably inexpensive. All in all it was a pretty nice evening.

We love Jesters--- you can tell its a labor of love for the family who run it and we love the shows. We come from a pretty great distance to see the shows and have never been sorry that we do. For an enjoyable and affordable night out, I think its pretty hard to beat. We love that they have a school and provide opportunities for people in the community to be involved in the arts.

By far my favorite place to enjoy a night out. You have a great view and sound quality from evey seat in the house. Its not much to look at from the street but once inside the actors transport you to their world! This is why I drive past 4 different play houses to get there. As a bonus, they make an amazing tequila sunrise.

I love live theater. Jesters is a very charming place. I do believe some upgrades with modern/nicer furniture may be nice. Lastly, upgrading and improving the food served. I know the focus is the theater performance, but I still pay for the food served. The employees and performers have always been delightful and friendly.

This has a fun and small local feel to it. The actors and actresses go all out for the shows. We saw Scrooge this holiday season and i was fantastic. The set was great and the costumes. The decor in the rest of the theatre looks a little old but it also just feels homey. The food is great, I recommend quesadillas.

Everything about spending a night at Jesters Dinner Theatre is extraordinary, but also very personal. The local talent of all ages is staggering in how great of performers there are. I have been there many times and have taken family and friends. I have always been amazed and absolutely never disappointed.

The performance was good, not the best but it is a local dinner theater. I had the chicken cordon blue and woke up violently ill in the middle of the night which is why I rated it 2 stars. Plus had we paid full price for the tickets I dont think it would be worth it, but thankfully we used Groupon.
