This course in modestly priced at about $40 for 18 holes with a cart, however the actual course conditions compared to the pictures available on the website are drastically different. The tee boxes, though fairly large, are very torn up. This says to me that they arent properly watered or taken care of by grounds keepers. The greens are nominally sized, but contain many dead patches, as well as elk droppings from the nearby wildlife. Yes, I said elk droppings...everywhere on the course...often the greens are covered with them, and the secondary cut and fringes are as well. I actually didnt shoot too bad when I played here, but the overall course conditions made me very angry. If you notice the other reviews...they were written in the winter haha, when there was no chance of telling if the course was in good shape or not. Im writing my review in early September.

Ive played here a ton. The golf course is just OK. Views are great and its usually a little cooler up here if you are trying to get out of the heat. Fairways are in horrible shape, greens arent much better and the bunkers are more like sandblasted concrete. The course is short, and pretty easy. Most of the staff, with the exception of the bartenders, are rude. The couple that runs the course is EXTREMELY rude. Ive had multiple run ins with them, and as I said, Ive played there a lot, probably 40 or so rounds in the last 2 years. Honestly, for the price, you can play somewhere much better. Go play Deer Creek. Its cheaper and far superior. I just hope EGC gets new management soon. I love where the course is at, I love the views....that staff is a turn off.

This is Mountain Golf for sure! Greens and fairways are in decent condition most of the year. Not plush by any means, but there are a few elevated tee boxes...Like 8500ft. isnt already elevated enough! But there are a few elevated tees that when coupled with the elevation give the opportunity for a long hitter to reach a Par 4 green from the tee box. This is a fun and challenging course with nice scenic views and abundant wildlife. If you are expecting an Arrowhead or Red Hawk ridge quality resort course this is not the one for you. A good fun course that can provide some memories you will be talking about for years to come.

I really like this course and the price is right. Read top below on how to save money... It is tight and narrow in some areas and more ofna "normal" course in other areas. You get a great blend of mountain views, rivers, challenging shots, blind shots and wildlife. I like to think Of it as a "shaggy mountain course" Money tip. Grab a free loyalty membership at the denver golf courses. This will allow you to book up to 14 days in advance and we safed 20% on green fees. Pretty sweet deal.

Will definitely be back... First time golfing here. Awesome views and some challenging blind shots. The staff was great and the clubhouse was easy to access. Only reason I didnt I give it a 5 star, is the sand traps were like concrete, footprints didnt even show up. I also would have liked to see a beverage/snack cart rolling around though, as it seemed to be busy enough, even though it was lightly drizzling on and off. They certainly would have made a few more bucks off of us.

Made a tee time in person one day in advance. Staff failed to let us know that we would be paying full rates for a 17 hole round of golf. The # 10 hole is under complete reconstruction and closed. No idea when it will reopen. Staff gives the impression that they could care less. My advise is DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE until they get both the # 10 hole and the staff fixed.

Its a short course with a lot of blind tee shots that are just terribly designed. Pace of play is incredibly slow and my group saw no rangers keeping pace during our round. Price of $35 is high to walk a 5000 yard course. Im not sure why they decided to build such a short course when there is so much open space nearby. I wont be coming back.

Unfortunately didnt get to have a fun day on the course with my friends because we made a reservation and when we arrived they acted so rude and said they had no reservation, even though we confirmed it hours before. I understand things get busy but honesty goes a long way.

One of the coolest courses Ive ever played. Views were amazing and had some crazy blind shots. Lots of wildlife everywhere and cheap to boot. Staff was very friendly and will definitely play again. I would label it as a must play when in the Denver area.

Wildlife on the way in, beautiful. Wonderful greens with grand roll but slow pace, challenging fairways that test the ability of fade and control. Natural obstacles that leave a picture perfect view at every lie. Great value for the Bang!

Susan and the rest of her staff were very accommodating to me and my 5 year son. I will definitely return again to play the rest of the front 9. Thank you Evergreen Golf course. Oh yeah, the course was in great shape as well.

We dont golf but the course lets the community sled on their property every winder! Their actions reflect great credit upon themselves and is in keeping with the highest ideals in community outreach.

A good course, fun for amateur golfers. A little bit gimmicky for me, but thats what has to happen with a mountain course sometimes. Would recommend going and trying it.

Really rainy day, check in said to just pay for an 18 hole game and I could get a rain check for the other 9. They wouldnt credit me for the holes not played. Upsetting!

Great views with a pretty close drive from Denver. Restaurant is decent with full bar. Pro shop is pricey as expected. Excellent price on a round of golf.

Great mountain course, elk everywhere. They tear some greens up by walking on them. Otherwise a great course. Price is around 60$. No driving range!!

Great course to play. Some very nice, but tricky holes. The " bell hole" will blow your mind with the tee shot over a blind rock. Good staff also.

While this course has almost no flat Fairways, it is definitely a fun, interesting place to play. Almost guaranteed to see elk every single time

Im drawn to play this quirky course several times a year. Love the views, staff are very nice, and food is pleasing. Short drive from denver.

This is a fun mountain like golf course with a public course green fee. The course is short, but some blind shots make it challenging.

I have not golf to this course but it isnt a very beautiful setting in the mountains in Evergreen. It is right next to Evergreen Lake.

I love playing here. Great holes, interesting tee boxes and beautiful scenery. I try to get up to this course at least once a year.
