Great place to walk and look at wild life right on the edge of Stapleton. They hold fireside chats in the summer and talk about various topics which are fun. I was also told today that they have the largest variety of birds in Colorado. If you are a bird watcher you should probably come check this place out. The walk around the lake is a mile so it is a nice place outdoors to get some exercise in. The only bummer is some people who visit dont pick up after themselves and leave trash. It is a real shame to because this is such a beautiful and peaceful place.

The city has to clean up this area leading into the nature center. People dump furniture sofas and trash along Moline/ Havana Way. This makes the whole area look just awful and not safe where I want to take my grandchildren. I know its under construction, but still clean it up, or put a sign NO DUMPING YOUR SOFAS HERE OR BE FINED.

Looks beautiful, but guess what, cant walk my dog or ride my bike carefully though the park. Signs posted everywhere, so beware. Funny thing is, my dog and I still disturbed the precious ecosystem of prairie dogs by walking next to the 6 foot tall security fence keeping all of us "riff-raff" out. Maybe someday we can live life...

This is a nice little nature spot for being in town. There was plenty of wildlife to see and great flowers. There are nice walking and running paths too. I saw a sign for kids summer camp programs which I thought was cool.

Just seeing a glimpse of how Colorado use to look in the days of the pioneers is amazing.
