The perfect getaway. A place to come and relax and enjoy the beauty of nature in the heart of the city. The Nature Center offers an education on the ecology of Colorado, and how nature and the diversity of wildlife figure prominently into that equation. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and the adjacent park offers a break from the minutia of everyday life. This is a great place to take kids, and let them walk the trails and experience a little bit of the outdoors in the city. Arvada has a crown jewel in the Majestic Nature Center, and it would be well worth your while to stop in and pay them a visit

Exactly as the name of this place suggests, it is Majestic. The views and the nature center issue in a tranquillity unmatched by other parks. The nature center holds classes for kids to learn about nature, wildlife and the environmental ecosystem that we live in. After classes the kids can play at the playground, around the open spaces or flower gardens that surround this place. Truly a great place to stop at within the city of Arvada.

Quaint little visitor center with activities and exhibits for children. Staff is extremely friendly and outgoing. Worth the local funding given to the park!
