Im a big fan of wines from the Paso Robles area since they offer great value and unique blends you wont find elsewhere in California. I came across a bottle named "Moondancer" recently and couldnt pass up buying it (primarily because I thought the name was cool). To my surprise, the wine far exceeded my expectations! Its a full-bodied rhone-style blend that delivers the classic dark fruit flavors and pepper finish while still being nicely balanced. I think it will be great this summer with bbq and I plan to add a few bottles to to the cellar.

I really love the Petite Sirah. Its been my favorite since Ive been introduced to Estrella Creek. In my opinion, one of the best of so many great vineyards in California. I recently tried their Viognier and it may have changed my view on white wines, never liked them and never thought I would. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I really liked it.

This is a fantastic Paso Robles winery - and now counts for 1/3 of my collection. Love their Stargazer and Moondancer. If you like Syrahs and Petite Sirahs, I highly recommend giving them a look.
