Great serene place in entire san jose. Visited to celebrate Hola Maholla event that was organized post holi for celebrations and it was awesome! :) There were so many people and loads of people turned up that we had to park 2 blocks away and that too we got lucky that we got someones spot who was leaving. The had tents in an open area and there were so many of them. There were tents for following food items: 1) Chole Bature 2) Desi Fries 3) Chai 4) Lassi & Fruit chat 5) Jalebi and Sweets 6) Chowmein 7) Bread pakora 8) Sugarcane juice.. And the list goes on.. Loved all the arrangements. Will visit again on a major festival or any other time.

I know virtually nothing about Sikh traditions etc. Im a large middle aged white guy. In any case I was just out photographing and found this is a cool place to visit. Unlike many places the people there were very inviting. Usually Im expecting somebody to tell me you cant photograph here (that even happened at the San Jose City Hall- not what I was taught in civics class!) But while perusing the grounds a lady came up to me and told me I was welcome to come by for a free meal if I liked. Architecture is what I imagine South Asia would look like. Also very nice views of Silicon Valley below.

I attended San Jose Sikh Gurudwara for the many years I lived in Sunnyvale. It is indeed a beautiful Gurudwara Sahib, very popular in USA. More importantly, it has wonderful priests, great sewadars, and a vibrant community. Go there early morning, listen to spiritual Gurbani, perform Seva in Gurudwara Sahib, langar hall & feel spiritual.

Amazing place, heard about this place a lot so finally went there last year, since then wahe guru kept on fulfilling my wishes and kept inviting me to the divine again and again, besides that the langar which they serve is very good, the selfless service offered here is something to learn for everyone !

The largest gurdwara in Northern America! A peace and tranquil place to visit. Its open to all people. The place offers langaar to everyone and is served by sikh samaritans. Very friendly people and nice to have conversations. My friend got married here last year :)

We have been regulars at this Gurdwara since 1997. It used to be in an old building, but the Gurdwara was moved to this new magnificent building a couple of years back. Gurdwara organizes community events regularly, and has Punjabi classes for children on Sundays.

Beautiful place, people are fairly friendly, I didnt interact with as many people as I wanted to but was given free food and was offered seconds. Id say its quite a tight knit community. Amazing sights and view is gorgeous from the hills
