Great little neighborhood park where all the locals take their kids and dogs! Its clean and peaceful, doesnt feel weird or anything. Although there might be some sketchy characters walking around occasionally. I take my dog here during the day, because its close to our hotel and there isnt a big crowd of people. Most people are friendly and nice. However, I definitely have never taken my dog out to this park at night past 8 pm.

As a new puppy owner, I was pleased to find this park. It was recommended by a couple other dog owners. Its quite the hike but in a really nice spot. Its quiet and there arent any weirdos walking around. You get a great view of Grace Cathedral just across the street. Small grassy areas for the dogs to play around and a small playground for the kids. We definitely plan to go back and meet some more cool people.

Fantastic little park nestled in the heart of Nob Hill. Grace Cathedral is right across the street and there are plenty of benches to grab a seat and hang out. San Francisco is big on dogs; this park will make that very clear. Lots of cool pups running around doing what they do best. The park is lit up in Christmas lights during the holiday season, so you should definitely swing by if youre around.

Half A Sweet Square Block of elevated park space to enjoy. The water fountain, the relatively new childrens play area, the view of the surrounding buildings, and you could really stop and smell the roses on the edges of the park. I really like the fall colors from the tress on the rim of the park. I enjoyed just sitting here for an hour before I went to a Concert at The Masonic.

I truly love my dog to walk up to california to get this park but it is one of the nicest blocks in the city and the park is lovely. Right next Grace Cathedral there is a playground for kids and dogs are welcomed even though this is not "officially" considered a dog park. Dog owners gather on Friday evenings with a few drinks to socialize as the pups get some play time.

The grassy areas where dogs are explicitly allowed are limited to the edge areas surrounding the park. Its a bit frustrating to visit many different parks, some of the only grassy areas in the city, just to be told that dogs arent actually allowed in the grass. The location is great, the views are gorgeous, and there are always quite a few dogs/walkers there!

I stay frequently nearby at The Nob Hill Inn with my small service dog. This park is perfect! Its full of friendly dogs and people, well maintained and everyone picks up after their dog. I also see Tai Chi here often and love nearby restaurants, hotels and cafes. The High Tea at the Fairmont is awesome.

Its a cute little park across the street from the Grace Cathedral at the top of Nob Hill. Popular with ppl and their dogs even though its such a tiny park! No homeless ppl though (from memory) so you can walk around without being too wary! Good photo point of the fountain with cathedral in the background.

Eerily beautiful and charming at night, evening, and twilight. A beautifully well kept neighborhood park, with plenty of comfy benches, as well as constant Rec & Parks Dept. Published wifi. Easy to miss from the street because it looks like the hedges of private property, unless you are aware it exists.

This would be a nice little park if there werent so many dogs pooping around...Forget about sitting on the grass, even the benches are smelly and dirty. Not that safe for children either considering most dogs are not kept on a leash ( I saw a couple accidents over the years)

I was amazed on how much the city changes as you walk from one part of the city to another. At one point, youd swear you are in NYC, but as you move into another area, you definitely know that youre in California. Very eclectic and very fun.

Delightful spot! Its easy to come post up for a couple hours of reading and relaxing. There is a small childrens area for the little ones, but its never noisy or out of control. Dont be surprised to find an art show when stopping by.

A nice Park in a nice area. The only thing I found annoying is that it is the local hangout for every dog owner in the area who doesnt have a back yard. Good playground area for kids.

Swanky park only visited by those that climb the hill. Seriously no bums they cant hike that high. Its a good spot to relax and I always find it sunny even if its cloudy elsewhere.
