STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE A BOAT!!!!!Dont wash your boat or spill a bottle of water in your boat or let rain water in, or run over a puddle of water on your way into the lake or run your motor before bringing it to the muddy hole. The 18 year olds at the gate with no experience in life will turn you away if they find a drop of water in any area of your boat, regardless of where the water came from or how many years tour boat has sat in your driveway or that the bunks are completely dry, or the fact you have dust and spider webs all over your outdrive, not that those kids would know what a outdrive was!!!! Ugh!!! After sitting in traffic for over 2 hrs just to get to this nasty muddy hole that has to have the most disgusting water I have ever seen, and warnings posted about not eating the fish in the lake, we were turned away by the Lake and their highly intelegent highly skilled highly educated staff! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE!!

Came here not to long ago to ride our jet ski. We usually go to Lake Perris but because this is only 15 mins away we decided to try it out. And it was on a Monday so it was almost empty and we had a lot of area for riding. First off I wish the sand area and water was a little bit more cleaner, too many seaweeds or what resembles water plants, very difficult and scary to get our jet ski tangled in all that. Secondly, if they are strict in water why cant they do the same for sand area. It was almost discouraging to sit on the sand as there was several and I mean several! Dog feces around the perimeter of the water. I didnt see any sign that states no dogs allowed on sand or water. I kind of wish they did so people can be more mindful of their dogs business. Luckily we didnt stay long. But I dont think Ill be visiting their water recreational area for a while. Well just stick to our usual Lake Perris.

If your a fisherman......do not got here unless you have a boat...Im serious. It is nothing but a waste of time. Ive literally been here with my son 5 times fishing for catfish, and everytime......" Skunted ". The people next to me, and around the whole lake never catch anything but a bunch of small ass blue gill...thats it. I have seen people catch fish here tho.......but only on a boat. If you have a special place where this lakeworks for you, I really want to hear it.....

Picturesque place to walk, jog, ride, hike, fish or camp. Lots of trails, some flat, some with risers. The lake is gorgeous with plenty of places to picnic and multiple rest room facilities strategically located. Something for everyone. Plenty of bird watching to. I even saw pelicans in the lake. 14 miles in trails, but walking around the lake is not recommended unless you are looking for a hike up the foothills. Wish the ranger had mentioned that before I tried.

I couldnt speak more highly of this place. I came here on an invite with some friends to do some mountain biking, and already Im planning my next visit. The park has plenty of open areas to bring the family, and has plenty of hidden trails for hikers and cyclists. If you plan on riding a bike through the brush though, be sure to wear some gloves and shin guards, because those thorns will get you good.

Good place to swim or paddle as the lake is surrounded by hills and usually pretty calm. The park gets quite crowded in the summer and holidays. Also, the water quality seems to have gone downhill in recent years, I now frequently see dead fish by the docks and more bacteria and algae bloom. Park has childrens playground and running path, and overall is a great place to spend an afternoon.

Its a nice little lake but it lacks a river running through it and the filtration system might not get out many germs or parasites that may be in it. They have a swimming spot but I would not go in it. They also have a boating route small circle for boating faster than wake speed . You can fish there but I wouldnt eat them. But its a great park with lots of bucking and beautiful views

距离我家很近,我们一家经常去这里散步,这里有非常大面积的水面和高大的树木,所以这里形成了一个小气候会让人感到舒服,野生动物也很多与人友善,所以我建议大家要尊重爱护它们。

Ive been coming here since I was a kid. Great place for picnics and awesome playgrounds for kids to play. Sadly, the water is polluted with PCBs so dont eat anything thats been in the water. I wouldnt let kids swim in the water either. They need to clean up the lake, make it Paddle Only so no more oil and gas get into the water to make it safe again to be in the water.

Massive plot of land to get away from the urban setting. The reservoir isnt the cleanest and the trails are torn up from the massive pine trees in frequent portions. However, this does not take away from the comfortable feel of being away from city life. Many city functions, competitons, and fundraisers are held here making it a beautiful family and companion setting!

Whoa looked really pretty inside the car but once outside there is literally so much fecal matter littering the entire perimeter of the lake that we ended up leaving in under an hour. You cant walk or sit anywhere without being covered in it. Once my son fell and had it covering his face we called it a wrap. Very unfortunate.

Love bringing the kids to swim here. Lifeguards on duty all the time till closing. If u go on a weekend go early. It can get very crowded especially in the summer months. Only open Thurs.-Sun. 10am - 6pm. $10 a car. $5 for denior or disabled. Oh n absolutely no floating devices. Theyll have u put em away. Hope this is helpful

This park is an amazing place for a long walk. It is well managed. Entry is free 5 days a week during the winter. The walk around the lake is aprox 5 miles. The area has wonderful bird life including: hawks, osprey, owls, swans, pelicans, cormorants, etc.. Highly recommended for walking, biking, canoeing and picnics.
