Hands-down one of the best places I have ever been! The service just seriously blew me out of the water. I was looking for a place I could take my two-year-old to eat after we went to the zoo. I called and they told me to come on and no problem at all theyll take care of the baby :-) already I was shocked how cool they were about bringing the baby and it was kind of late that night. My servers name was Sheila..... she was funny and sweet and kind and honestly I didnt want to leave. She was so kind to my daughter and I made her have such a good time. We live in temecula but believe me we are going to be going back down there a lot. She gave us extra food when it got cold and made sure my class was filled constantly.She was dancing with my daughter to the music to it was just such a blast.She did so many sweet things I honestly cant even keep going on. Also there was a server name Mark that came and talk to me and played with my daughter.... what a freaking sweet man :-) The hostess name was Brittan and she also came and hung out for a little while and we had a really cool conversation. I have not been to a restaurant like this for a long time. We eat out so much too .... its sad theres not more people that love their job like this .... this place is really one of a kind :-)

No one was at the door to greet my party of nine. The manager was pleasant. But This was my third time here - our chicken was old, the brisket was cold and the kitchen served us my favorite dish Yukon mashed potatoes as-instant potatoes. Are you kidding me!? just because its the end of the night doesnt give a chef an excuse to serve .;;Crap::. They brought my brisket back out very quickly and I asked if they microwaved it and they did. I lost my appetite. Hard rock s food is not cheap. Im not paying for microwaved food. WHERE ARE YOUR STANDARDS CHEF!? The last two times I was here the wait to order was long and to check out as well, and I was given the check without being asked if I would like dessert. After waiting so long for some one to check in with us, I was irritated and just paid and left without desert. I dont mind a wait if my food is fresh. I always said I wouldnt go out of my way to come here again, but now I wont come back unless Im drunk and dont have any common sense to realize the poor quality of food and sometimes service this restaurant has. I refuse to eat HARD ROCK COLD FOOD.

The staff at this restaurant was by far the most unprofessional staff I have ever experienced. We had a large group of 10 celebrating a birthday. The service was slow, but we all managed to have a good time regardless. When the bill came, we requested that it be split amongst us, and the servers reply was that it wasnt his job to do that for his table. The manager made the situation that much worse. After I explained that I wouldnt pay the gratuity because I was not happy with the service, he followed me leaving the restaurant and asked if I was embarrassed for not tipping and that my server had a kid to support. He also dropped f bombs at my girlfriend and the rest of the party, and in no way what so ever attempted to remedy our bad service. Instead, he decided to argue with a birthday girl. As a hospitality industry professional, I have never experienced treatment like this, and I hope that people are not subjected to this often at their "world known" establishment. DONT GO!!!

Went here for dinner one day, walked in and was seated in the back. Our table was not wiped clean until we were already seated. Many tables around here still had dishes and cups, etc... So the guy seats us and asks if we know what we want. Um.. I just sat down. I forget why but he goes in the back and our server shows up and asks if we are ready to order but the last guy took our menus. 6 minutes later we have menus finally. I can choose something to eat. I picked the grilled chicken sandwhich, took about 30 minutes for food, and there was maybe 15- 20 people total in there. They were not "that" busy. So they bring my food, awesome, Im soo hungry. Bite into it, nothing but bun which happens. Bite again, burnt sour and bitter grill powder taste. I almost got sick and was immensely upset. The waitress came around and offered another but I lost my apetite. So watch out for dirty grills when you order grilled food.

Two stars ONLY because the food is good. But the service is complete trash. worst Hard Rock Ive been to in the country, and Ive been to a few. Specifically, one of their servers, Mark, was extremely blunt and rude and forgot the simplest of details for an order. My friend ordered a doctor pepper and it took 25 minutes for Mark to walk over to the soda fountain, pour the drink, and bring it back. And it isnt because they are super busy, because they are well staffed as well but just a completely horrible experienced and overpriced. Do not eat here, McDonalds has better service.

The employees were very friendly. When my waitress discovered I was a vegetarian, she went out of her way to call a friend who knew of a great vegetarian restaurant in town, in case I was interested during my week stay in San Diego. The veggie burger I got was possibly the best Ive ever had. The Veggie Leggie has a grilled veggie patty, topped with a Portobello mushroom and other great veggie toppings. It is massive and tastes as good as it looks. And if course, its always fun to walk around the restaurant and look at their great rock n roll memorabilia.

Onion Rings were cooked in old oil, tasted burnt, smokey, and definitely not golden brown, cooks forgot to add honey mustard to chicken sandwich, and server who brought out our dishes only brought two of three. Assigned server didnt come out to check on us after the two dishes were brought out, if she had, she wouldve seen there was a dish missing! Bad experience for first time at Hard Rock Cafe San Diego, California! I had to give them one star because it would not let me post this if I hadnt!

We always have good things to say about the Hard Rock. Food is always good, nice thing about the Hard Rock it doesnt matter where in the world you are, what country your in the Hard Rock will have the standard menu besides the local influence. So if your scared of the local foods the Hard Rock can be a taste of home if needed. I have been to several over the years in different cities and counties and you can always count on the Hard Rock. Staff is always polite and food is always good.

My wife and I didnt eat or drink but did visit and bought tee shirts. Customer service was excellent by the one staff member that attended us. We didnt get his name. He served us well and then went on to explain the story behind the stained glass dome in the ceiling. He knew the full story and welcomed us to take photos. He deserves credit for his excellent customer service. We visited mid afternoon on 19 August 2013. The cafe was very nice with good atmosphere. Visited August 2013
