Over the 15 plus times that I have been to K1 I love the experience now the last time... Was not so good... Okay some history Ive been to almost every indoor electric go kart track in California and Nevada, over 5 to 10 different places over the years, I have never had this problem and I understand how their machinery and controls work.. my problem on this last one I did not catch his name, but hes the Asian guy that was controlling the go-karts.. he would slow you down on purpose cutting your throttle every time you came around a corner.. made it so horrible for me and my girlfriend we both asked for refunds and were denied.. I now believe K1 is the worst indoor go kart place.. hey used to be at the middle of my list and now its at the very bottom and Ill probably never go to that one ever again because of the issues the guy gave me with my go-kart then they even try to blame it on the go-kart itself as if it was broken... Im not dumb and I no it was the guy hitting the hold button on his controls because he would wave at me everytime.. Im 30 years old been on these hundreds of times and never experienced this problem until the Asian guy was controlling the race.. Ill never go to K1 ever again ... On top of that when I got out of the car and walked up to the front desk they tried to blame it On The Go Cart itself and refused to give me a refund or a new race.. biggest waste of $120 I ever made

I took my son here for his birthday for the first time. First off everything was fine. But then stuff hit the fan, on my 2nd and final race the steering column broke when I was on a turn. They stopped the race asked me to get out and walk across the track while walking the employee said to me "Ill get you in another race". After exiting the track area I told my son what had happened then we went to the front desk. There I spoke with a lady and told her what happened and what the employee told me she got on her radio to confirm, thats when the employee denied saying what he said...so I was assed out!!! Then I call the manager after I get home and he didnt want to do anything about it. He told me that it cost them $6.33 or every 14 lap race, funny because they charge the same price for adults and juniors and juniors only race 12 laps!! I guess K1 is a hurting company that they cant let one person race again on their dime because their equipment failed!!! Waste of $86.00 to a lousy company with lame employees especially the manager! Do Not Go Here!! Tell your family and friends not to go!

The staff are great, the karts are inconsistent. As of today I have done 17 "races." This is a great introduction to racing if you dont have real life racing experience. It was great to race with the Challenge GP guys, they are awesome. But the karts are so different, last night the #33 was terribly slow, full throttle around every corner. Then the #18 was really fast, until I went around a corner and it didnt turn. :P The last car, number 11? was average in both accel. and handling. and I posted a decent time. But the difference between good karts and bad karts are so big that it can be frustrating for someone that is an experienced driver. Im starting to feel as if I have out grown this stage in my development. I think it might be time to move into real cars after Decembers race. :)

Been here before... Called 2 days in advance, then 1 day in advance to make sure we wouldnt spend all day waiting. Was told theyre totally free with nothing in the schedule. We showed up today right after they opened to squeeze in 2 races with 5 kids for my sons bday. We were told they had an event and wed have to wait 2 hours.... 2nd time this has happened. So now we spending half a day here once again just to get in a couple races. Girl with blonde hair at front got frustrated with me cuz I didnt speak her jargon and needed help looking up my account, another girl with dark hair stepped in and communicated way better and was helpful. This place would totally benefit from some online scheduling and better communication, be prepared to wait if you come here.

the cashier said we would race immediatly and one after another then I was told a birthday party has come in and they have priority over me me and my kids we were there for almost 4 hours each race is only 8 minutes they refused to refund my money then they forget to put me in my last race the cashier then told me we always make mistakes I have to accept that and started laughing telling me im not getting a refund the General manager finally came out with no intention of doing anything he was very rude and then he told me I used a groupon I didnt buy anything from him he went on to say groupon buys packages from them im not even a real customer take it up with groupon this place is over priced and has horrible customer service

The wait was improbably long. We showed up at 7:30 and were told the next opening would be at 10, okay, we sign up then go eat. Came back at 9:30 and figured wed only have a short wait. 10 came and no announcment for our names so we asked how long, "oh not this race but the one after" was the answer. So we wait. 10:30, still no announcement for our names, "oh the next race" was the answer. 10:45, still nothing. We finally got our chance to race at 11pm... Based on our race that was stopped twice because some agro vape bro had run someone into the wall, it just seems like they dont plan for race stoppage when giving time slots or something. Plan for a frustratingly long wait.

As this is one of our most favorite annual things to do, this year was thoroughly disappointing due to the lack of consistency from car to car (i.e. competitors cars simple walk away in the strait away) and the overall maintenance of these vehicles is flat out dangerous. Our group consisted of two track sessions with over 18 people unfortunately, on one of the cars the brake pedal broke and on another one the back wheel came off. We’re fortunate no one got hurt. When the cars are setup properly they are an absolute blast and I once again finished in the top 10 of all drivers that month but, then you get in a turd for the main event and it’s quite the letdown. Very Sad!

Very dangerous. Unsafe. Race at your own risk. I went here for a bachelor party a little while back and had to quit after some warm up laps because I got hit so hard from behind by someone going 25-30mph. (Be forewarned: These things can reach speeds of up to 42mph.) The seats on the go-karts are hard as a rock and they have little to no padding to help absorb the shock from rear end collisions. Also, theres no roll cage to protect you either. The safety tutorial briefing at the beginning was so general and probably only lasted 2-3 seconds. Apparently, safety for K1 Speed seems to be an afterthought. They even tried overcharging my uncle for additional rides. AVOID!
