This is one of my favorite area parks and for good reason! With sprawling soccer & softball fields theres no shortage of team sport activities to play, but the great thing about Maidu Regional Park is that theres more! Yes friends & strangers alike, theres much more! Got a regular Tony Hawk in the family, then check out the skate park and show off those new tricks! Is it just you today but you want to work on your swing, or did you have a frustrating day at the office and you need an avenue to vent built up tension, then head to the batting cages and blast away! So many things to do outside, like the old time playgound area thats fun and safe for everyone including those with developmental issues, that its easy to forget all the fun there is indoors too! The library is spacious and has cool activities that are scheduled for the kids to learn, grow and interact with each other in a safe environment. All in all, Maidu is the standard for which all other regional parks should be measured and a cool place for everyone in the family to let loose and shake it on down!

I used to go to Maidu park all the time when I was younger. Its a great place for the whole family. I used to absolutely adore the child-sized wooden trains that are set up to play on, as well as the more woodsy area with a bike-path all the way around (Im not sure exactly how long it is). And to top it all off, theres a library really near by which is always a plus for me.

Kids play tons of sports here. Always great place to visit as they also have Maidu Indian history and great playgrounds for children. Great place to exercise and have fun! Recently they closed the baseball batting cages and we are bummed...You will be happy to know that they have a skate park for kids too!

Clean, friendly people, spacious, relaxing, easy to find and great for walking around or bringing the pets and kids, skate park, playgrounds, 2, clean bathroom, library in same vicinity, fields for playing, practice your batting skills at the cages, just great place to do it not do much and enjoy.

This park is focused more on providing fields for local sports teams than a general gathering place. Has decent walking paths and a play area for children. When no teams are playing its good for flying kites. Dogs must be on leashes. No water areas and very limited picnicking areas.

Great park with so many different areas from soccer fields, basketball courts, batting cages, picnic areas, museum, playground, baseball fields, etc. We recently discovered the playground that resembles an old western town. The kids had a blast there.

This park has everything: a paved walking trail, tons of open fields for sports, two play areas, a community center, batting cages, and tons of events and activities going on in the area, its one of my favorite parks to visit in Roseville

We had a baby shower here, it was great!! There was plenty of parking, everyone was friendly, easy to navigate, the kids enjoyed themselves. First come, first serve picnic area means no reservation fees!! We highly recommend this place!!

Very nice and a big park...good place to spend a couple of hours with children...all the.more nice if you are a member of the library..kids play while you enjoy a book..the ice cream vans add to the fun in summer..love this park

This is a great park with lots to do. Skatepark, indoor soccer, softball fields and a disabled person park. There is also a really nice paved trail that goes around the back of the park thats nice for walking or scooters.

Great park and community center. Theres a kids area with benches to relax. Baseball fields, Soccer fields and even a skate park. You can drive around the entire park during the day. Its a dirt road around the back side.

Awesome place but not so much for younger kiddos (as far as play structures) There is a structure but kinda small. This place really targets the teens and up crowd. Batting cages, skate park and the fields area huge.

This place is great in so many ways I have memories as far background as I can remember from playing at the park with my cousins as a kid when my grandfather would take us on an outing to my own kids birthday parties

Went to my nephews birthday party here and had a blast. There was plenty of tables and shade. The kids enjoyed the play areas, skate park and soccer arena. I would recommend this park to all my friends and family.

love this park! playground is surrounded by benches which are shaded by the many trees. never ending fun for the kids and it feels very safe because not only because there is no car traffic but also feels closed off

We love this park. We go to the library every week. The playground is so awesome especially for young kids. And then there is a fun walking trail to explore that we recently found behind the soccer fields.

Lots of fields and trails to run around, fun park for the little ones. A park with so much to do and the community uses it for sports all the time bringing people together and making this full of life.

This park has everything. The library has a wonderful childrens area and reading time each week. The playground is clean and well kept with a beautiful play structure in it for children of all ages.

Nice park with a skateboard park, basketball court, tennis courts, lawn areas, community center, library, rose Garden. Great place for a run around the park. Weve had several annual 5k runs here.

Great park! Alot of spooky scenery as there was a fire some years back leaving large oak trees blacked making for dramatic scenes. Running/waking trails are well maintained.

This was a great facility, the dirt and grass fields were nice, clean restrooms and here were a lot of large beautiful trees for shade. There was also plenty of parking.

This large regional park is beautiful and well maintained. There are numerous athletic fields and recreational areas behind the library and Maidu community center.

Very nice park, well planned and lots of parking. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is the concession stand was closed and some of the parking is gravel.

Great surroundings for a variety of events. Parking is spread out over the entire facility, so you dont necessarily need to hike all your gear.
