My church and I have hosted multiple event in this park so here is what I think about it. First the pools. They are great no major complaint here; the lifeguard for the most part are friendly, it has a diving board, and the pools are usually fairly very clean, and the price isnt very steep $3 for adults and $2 for kids. The two minor complaints are at times it could be very crowded and two the crowds are not always very polite and kind. Now the park itself. The park is huge, compared to park it this community it is fairly big. Two, it has an assortment of sports you can play here with many field dedicated to each sport. For example; baseball, soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and kickball. Three, there are two playground on either end of the part. Four, there is a skate park. And five; there multiple place to host parties with DIY barbecue grills, tables and benches with roof to shield from the sun. Now the bad. The crowd at the park is very mixed. On one hand you have your typical families enjoying there weekend off and then you got your homeless alcoholics on the other. The park can be dirty at times. And watch out for reservations which are available for this park to not ruin you weekend. All in all decent park if you need a lot of space, but if you dont need all that space you will be better served elsewhere.

This park is a really beautiful park, with rolling hills and cemented pathways. I didnt know there was more to this park than what I always saw. I would come here on my lunch everyday I worked. Sitting in one of the two places to park by the baseball fields, you could people watch. After a few times you learned the people and learned what they were there for. Gay men and gay sex is what goes on in the restrooms. They sit in their car/truck and wait. Once the spot "theone" theyll get out and walk into the restroom. Wait for a few and another will walk right behind the first guy. Theyll be in there a few and one will walk out and then the second one. Ive seen them, park get outta their car, go into the bathroom and watch out the window, waiting. This is just not the kinda place I would bring my daughter too. This would go on everyday or the five days I worked. Citrus Heights needs to clean this place up. None of the bathrooms have locks on the womens doors. These should be fixed.

Rush park is a beautiful place that I have practically grew up in as a kid. My son did also. Its a pretty big park with rolling green hills that are spotted with some rather old oak trees. Plenty of things to do.from the awesome skate park,to the 3 swimming pools at the aquatic center, in door - outdoor basketball court, tennis courts,3 baseball fields, snack bar, barbecue pits and 2 large playgrounds with a walking path that you can walk from one end to the other.again its a beautiful place that Ive always felt safe at any time, day or night.Yes, there is some homeless people but they are really polite, and never bother anyone. All parks have homeless. Its the only place these people have to relax without being ran off.The park also has an historical landmark which is the rush home. I highly recommend this park as its one of the best Ive visited in the region. 5 stars hands down.

This park has a play structure for toddlers and one on sand for bigger kids, but they are not next to each other. There are swings. Covered benches ad a bbq pit. Other areas of the park include a skate/bike ramp. This park also has swimming pools for public swim in appropriate months, and offers swim lessons. They also hold many functions here, such as craft fairs and family fairs. I only gave it 2 stars because theres a lot of trash, Ive been told cars get broken into a lot here, and transients also converge here daily and use profanity and smoke near the children.

Rusch Park is a lovely local park with regular events for families and the neighborhood. Dog shows, car shows, Wine and Brew Fests...to outdoor movie nights. Local teams play softball here, there is a community pool and a Community Center that houses classes and meetings all year round. So glad I live within walking distance.

Very nice community park. Had a bit of everything and a pool. Other than the kids playing at the daycare next door and a bit of road nose from passing cars it is pretty quiet here. Nicely maintained lawn and grounds. Bathrooms clean. Plenty of parking and some in the shade in the morning time till around 1:00 then limited.

Home of Sunrise Parks and Recs offices, a daycare, and Cafe for seniors, served by Meals on Wheels. This park is huge. Walking trails, picnic areas, skate park, swimming pool, basketball court, and play structures. Large Citrus Heights events including Petapalooza are hosted here.

This park is a nice park they have really put in a lot of work on it lately and its been a nice change, my only problem is most of the people that decide to hang out there but other than that the park itself is wonderful and a joy to go to with my family for the day.

I just moved back to Norcal after being away 5 years and I used to love walking my dogs around the park but not anymore, to many druggies and homeless. To many loose pit Bulls and thugs doing drugs by childrens play area. Its really gone to S%!t so sad.

We came here for a swim meet and I got to take a nice jog around this park. There are lots of trees and shade which makes it nice on a hot day. I saw lots of people walking their dogs and everyone was very friendly.

Two playgrounds and active sports programs year round. Quite a few homeless people hanging out, but theyve locked some main entry gates at night so its less of a problem than in years past.

The park is large, with a stream running along one border. It has lots of shade trees, and lots of facilities, including a skate park, swimming complex, courts, and multi-use trail
