The bartender just ripped me off for $75.00. I purchased a bottle of screw top wine, for take out, the Sheriff Shadow Ranch, for $21 plus tax but he charged my debit card for more than $100. Let him screw the working and middle classes. Let him screw all working or middle class mothers. Let all the high employees screw any ordinary people who happen to walk through the doors. It took him forever to type in the charges. I thought, hes had a long, hard day." Yep, a long hard high day laughing at me or ordinary people like me. So, I stopped my debit/credit card. Inconvenient for the business. Triply inconvenient for me. More about me. I checked into the Mother Lode. I could afford the price, but I could not afford my car being ransacked or me being robbed. More about me: When I was younger and older and in my sixties,, I worked and paid into social security and the pension fund and whatever. More about the bartender at the H.Art Lounge: I DO NOT KNOW. Did he pay into a pension fund or social security? Does he work every week? Does he work full-time? Is he so great that I should be happy that he ripped me off? Is his art ripping me off? Should I take it on faith that hes so great that I should rejoice that hes cheating me?

Quirky in the best way possible, it is part café, part wine/beer bar, and part gallery. Very arts oriented: you can draw on the tables, there are rotating art exhibits, live music, etc. Aesthetically it is a pleasing environment that makes you want to look around and share your impressions with other patrons and with the staff. The Owner/operator, Stephania, is a sweetheart and the staff is absolutely great. I know of few places I have enjoyed as much as my time at H.ART Lounge. As a musician, few venues in Northern California have treated me as well as this one. I will play there as often as I am allowed to!

Ill stick to the local wineries, thanks! Walked in here one afternoon for about 30 seconds with my 10 month old son who just wanted to hear the music. A young bartender rushed up and rudely snapped in my face that we needed to get out immediately! I was mortified. I got my purse and stated we were just leaving, but she interrupted and told me again to just get out. I guess thats the law so I realize that she was doing her job but the way she handled it was extremely rude and unnecessary. Good wines? I dont know but I wont be coming back. Stars are for the music though, my son enjoyed that for a few seconds!

Hands down my favorite place to be after hours. Always a warm an welcoming environment. Reasonably priced drinks, and friendly company on the regular. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through, or looking for some place different.
