I wish I could give this place NEGATIVE stars. A group of ladies including myself come to this establishment each year (at least once) for our annual ornament exchange. The food is okay but you can get that pretty much anywhere else, its not exceptional. We had our annual ornament exchange on Saturday and the experience was horrible. The waitress was extremely slow and unfriendly. I mean, there were 2 other customers in the place and several staff so there was NO reason for her to be so slow. Also, we were drinking the bottomless mimosas and she didnt come by to top them off until we literally had our purses in hand and were ready to leave. Needless to say, I had 1 mimosa and paid for bottomless. My water was never filled and it took her literally about 5 minutes to exchange my drink glass for a clean one because the original she brought to me had mouth prints all over the lip of it. So, that brings me to my final and MOST IMPORTANT point which is: 4 of the 5 ladies (including myself) were charged a minimum of 3 times for our meals. One gal had 3 meal charges of different amounts and an additional $100 charge. Another gal had 4 separate charges of varying amounts. I had 3 charges of the same amount and another gal had 3 varying amounts charged on her card. The 5th gal paid with cash (lucky girl). I have attempted to call the place since first thing this morning after discovering this obvious theft and their phone goes to voice mail each time. I left a message after the 4th phone call attempt and still have not heard back from them. We will be going in there tonight (which is very inconvenient) and having a talk with the manager or whoever is in charge. This is completely unacceptable. If you have dined there, CHECK YOUR BANK OR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT.

We went for breakfast a few weeks back and although I love the ambience and being able to relax on their great patio, breakfast was not a winner. I dont go often for breakfast so when I do it has to be amazing, so obviously I wont be back for that. BUT! in a spur of the moment decision we decided to go for dinner last week, craving a hamburger, and I was very impressed! Seated on the patio again, which was so wonderfully surprisingly cool after a 100+ degree day, with the shade & misters, we had our 3 crazy littles entertaining everyone outside, fascinated by the big smoker BBQ outside and enjoying the excellent service of the waiter. Our drinks were made perfectly, the whole staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was truly great! I was so impressed by the buttery light and perfectly cooked calamari, my burger was done to well done (I ordered rare/medium rare) but it was flavorful and juicy just the same! I told the staff and he was super apologetic but I insisted that it tasted amazing so although I would have preferred and likely enjoyed a pink burger even more, I was very happy with it! I had a great house salad too! Overall just a nice place near the house to stop for a relaxing family-friendly lunch or dinner. I do have to say their menu isnt very large, which is a good thing really, but if youre craving much more than a salad, burger, sandwich or simple dinner dish this isnt quite the place.

I was in there for dinner a few nights ago the waitress was great so was the bartender it was my second time in there. The waitstaff in there were great. But the food was horrible i ordered a steak medium and when i got it it was a burned piece of shoeleather i cant remember what my girlfriend ordered but she wasnt impressed either with her order. for the prices on their menu you would expect that they would have a cook who knows what hes doing. the place was not busy so the cook was not overwhelmed with orders. After eating only a few bites of my steak i informed the waitress of what happened and she took the plate away and knocked the steak off my bill because it was burned.

I would not give this place any stars. Went there last night to see a local band. Waited for five minutes for a server to come to table, but several just passed by without acknowledging us. I then decided to go up to bar to order. There were three bartenders behind the bar. Two quickly turned their back and one refilled another customers wine before reluctantly taking my order. There was wait staff, but they seem to be very selective as to whom they served. The only time someone came to our table was to clear our half drank drinks while we were dancing. Paid tab and we left. Their tip reflected the amount of service.

I went on a Friday night & it was packed! The band was fantastic! A lot of people were dancing. There was at lease 4 lines to the bar (super crowded, most of the lines were a mix of people from the patio & squished inside bar patrons). I gave it 4 stars because they shouldve had at least one more bartender +/or barback. A Server on the deck would be cool too - actually, a portable bar with the basics out on the deck would be fantastic. The crowd would disburse more. Seriously - the band was fantastic!

Very cool spot !! It is nice to have something different in El Dorado Hills. We have a couple of choices as where to go in El Dorado hills for a bar or restaurant and we really like el dorado saloon for one of our choices. We tried the western Q cheeseburger and it was amazing, juicy meet, cheesy american cheese and i think it was grilled onion strips. WOW !!!! try it. See you soon Saloon.

I come in for brunch often with my hubby and its always a pleasant experience. I enjoy the outdoor seating when the weather is warm or sitting at the bistro tables inside and enjoying the elevated view of the oak trees outside when the weather is on the colder side. Service is friendly and fast and Ive always enjoyed the breakfast specials. Keep it up!

Overall from the first time we went there the foos was o.k. to say the least. Now hands down the El Dorado Saloon Rocks my socks !!! Everyone that went there at first and didnt have a good time should go back, let me tell you THINGS HAVE CHANGED !!! The new staff is cool and food is better. Cliff.

We got really good drinks prices are a little higher that Im used to but they have nice waitresses and nice bartenders so nice place to stop for lunch and have a meal which is really good their sandwiches are really off the hook highly recommended if you have time stop by

Love this place. Great to stop by and relax with friends, hang out, enjoy sporting events or have a great time during open mike. Staff is fantastic, food and drinks are amazing...especially the bbq!!!

Went there for lunch. Good food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Our waiter was very friendly and gave us some insight on places and things in the area when he heard we were buying a home up this way.
