Staff, golf course, restaurant were all excellent! This is a TRUE links golf course. Not a half-baked Americanized version of one. The negative reviews must be coming from folks who are not familiar with that style of golf. To say this track is anything less than incredible is lame. You could play this place a hundred times and still find new challenges! Some people dont like that in a golf course. I do!

Course was in terrible shape for the money...didnt care for layout as well...pebble in my opinion superior...although did like the Inn compared to The Lodge..play spyglass before spanish bay..

When I got there after more than two hours of driving from SF, two holes were under repair and the fairway had many bare spots. Felt like much of the course was just a hype.

100% stone cold dog track! Fairways were dirt with grass seed. Greens were good. Pay the extra money and play Pebble Beach. Gave an extra star for bagpiper and patio scenery.

Owned by same company as Spanish Bay and Pebble Beach, it has 14 holes with ocean views, built in Scottish links style, on sand dunes with lots of gourse.

One of the most beautiful golf courses in America. Every hole has a view of the ocean, and personally I like it better than Pebble Beach!

Not a one trick course, target golf, bump and run, etc. IMO best bang for the buck compared to Spyglass and Pebble.
