I have played moorpark several times and it usually has been a good experience, although I think they should be more peace officer friendly for those who serve and protect. It would be nice if they gave us a discount all week and not just monday thru thursday. Yesterday my collegues and I had a miserable experience at moorpark. The pace of play was really slow and the condition of the greens were poor, being way too soft with several deep ball marks on every hole. It was a very hot day so staying hydrated was key. Unfortuneately, we saw the cart girl once early in our round. And when we did see her she was extreamly rude. Then there was our cart. It didnt have a lot of power to begin with and by the 11th or 12th hole it began to die. We notified the pro shop of our situation via the request for a new cart botton on the cart. All of our requests were ignored as nobody came to our rescue. Being that the course, spread out with a lot of hills, you can imagine how difficult and frustrating it was to complete our round. After we finished we went to the pro shop to explain what had happend. We first spoke to the guy behind the counter. He was very rude and pretty much blew us off, but he did say, "theres nothing I can do, I just work here". I then asked to speek with his supervisor. The head pro came out and he was just as rude. I again explianed the situation. Instead of appologizing, he began to question my story, making it seem that I was making it all up and all that wanted was a free round or something. I have never experienced such unporfessionalism at a golf course. This was extremely disapporinting for my collegues and myself........

Love this place so much, was there for a wedding yesterday. The staff is super friendly and really nice. The views of the golf course are amazing, and I love how they have a outside bar on a nice concrete area outside the reception hall! The coordinators here keep things moving and everyone having a great time. Two thumbs up!

Moorpark country club is a great venue and golf course. There has been many upgrades recently to the ceremony location which adds to its elegance. The staff keeps things running smoothly and efficiently. The reception room is large and accomodating with a nice view of the golf course on the hills.

A fantastic course. The best public course in Ventura county. These people take great care of their facility and course. It is a bit expensive but considering how nice this public course is, your paying for a private course feel. I think its worth the money regardless how well you play.

Poor service. There were 2 other tables there. Took over 45 minutes for food and then it was lacking something from most everyones plate. Waitress said "that isnt something easy for us to grab" in reference to why it took 4 times of asking to get hot water and tea. Not impressed at all.

Nice place to take the family or a group of friends for brunch with views of Golf course. They have a full brunch buffet with omelet stations, fruits, pastries and assorted dishes. The $15 price of buffet includes champagne and coffee.

Celebrated my baby sisters 5th birthday here. The place has beautiful and clean. They have a beautiful garden. The staff were resourceful, the food was good, and sound systems are adequately loud. We had quite a fun time!

Came here for a wedding. Venue was nice. Ceremony area was close by cocktail area and reception hall. Food was very good as well. Only negative was that there was no shade during the outdoor ceremony.

Perfect Rehersal Dinner: We had our wedding rehersal dinner at Moorpark Country Club. The preparation, atmosphere, service, food, price, EVERYTHING was perfect. I highly recommend this venue.

A beautiful, but challenging golf course. Play the right tees and hit the ball straight and youll enjoy your round. Country club conditions and service. Very nice!

A very nice semi private style golf course that has 27 holes. The course/ club house are very well maintained and I have enjoyed my golf days at this course.

Beautiful and fun to play. More of a target golf course with many elevation changes. Next time I am near Simi Valley I would play it again.

Fun coarse. Some stupid holes but overall solid 3 nines. Can get a little pricey for the value but solid place to spend the day with buddies.

With 27 holes there are 3 different sets of 9 holes to provide some nice variety. Fast greens in good condition along with beautiful views.

Three well-maintained 9 hole courses. Decent pace of play. Avoid the Ridgeline course on a windy day.
