We loved our Perry House wedding and loved working with Susan! My wife and I wanted a relaxed, dinner party atmosphere, where we could mingle with our friends and family, and the Perry House delivered above and beyond what we had hoped for. Almost 6 months later, our families and friends still talk about our wedding and about how it was one of the most fun weddings theyve been to. One of the priorities for us was to have a relaxed enjoyable wedding where we didnt have to plan and decorate everything. The Perry House is a wonderful place for a reception. Its beautiful, with so many gorgeous details that not only reminded us of the Victorians in SF where we live, but made it feel comfortable and homey. Because it has so much natural beauty, we didnt have to do much at all in the way of decor. We choose a few colors of their standard linens, used their included centerpieces, and added a few touches and it looked AMAZING. The food was unbelievable. One of the hardest things was choosing the menu, just because there were so many delicious options. We loved the option of food stations instead of a traditional seated meal, allowing everyone to mix as they pleased. Susan, our event captain, went above and beyond in helping us put the event together. She answered all of our questions as we figured out what we would need, and made great recommendations based off her experience. She was there to guide us through the process from the beginning, and went over all the little details as we put our event together. She served as our day of coordinator as well, and was a huge help in making sure everything went smoothly so we could just have a great time. I was so amazed how she took the few small boxes of decor we had given her the day before, and integrated them into the Perry House to make it look so beautiful, but also feel so much like home. The Perry House made our wedding day beautiful, fun, and simple, so we could enjoy the best day of our lives.

The people at the Perry House, from the wedding planner, to the young lady that set the tables for the event were extremely professional and very pleasant to work with. They decorated the lawn beautifully, the home was spotless to where the wood floors shined, the bridal ready room was perfect for the wedding party to get ready in and, as father of the bride, the walk down the staircase with my daughter in arm was priceless. I would recommend anyone with the appropriate budget to give them a call. The only complaint we have was out of their hands. The Perry House does not have any parking spaces except for the bride and groom. All the guests had to park a block a way in the Heritage Harbor Parking garage at Scott and Pacific. The garage is owned and ran by Steve Hernandez of SJ Parking of Pebble Beach. We entered into a 10 vehicle pre-paid parking arrangement with him but his attendant, on the day of the wedding claims to have let 16 additional vehicles park and charge their parking fee of $12 to our wedding party. When we called to talk to Mr Hernandez about this he would not let us talk, kept cutting us off, and then stated that we were DISHONORABLE people that "now have ruined it for every one in the future!" If you chose to park there, get a written contract or have your guests pay and you reimburse them like we should have. Mr Hernandez has tainted our wedding experience with the Perry House.

This is a dream venue. The house is gorgeous and the view of the harbor from the balcony is so romantic. My husband and I were looking for a very particular dinner service: food stations and passed appetizers instead of a full sit-down dinner, making the reception feel like more casual and giving people more time to dance and have fun. Perry House offers something along those lines, but given the table setup we chose, people ended up sitting down for the entirety of dinnertime anyway, so if youre looking for the casual style I mentioned above, give your table setup a lot more thought. They offer a complimentary tasting to give you a sense of what the food is like - and its amazing! Susan is very responsive and super helpful. Unfortunately, she was unable to be at my wedding, but she left me in very capable hands. The staff is incredibly nice and professional. My wedding was gorgeous. Everyone loved the food and it was the best party ever! Only downside: its in a residential area so the party must end by 10 pm. You need to have an afterparty venue lined up because everyone will want to keep the party going!

Shot a wedding here. Beautiful place to stage a wedding for a small/medium-sized party (less than 120). The house is several levels, and the events coordinator is professional and on point. The house lends itself to some great shots, and the balconies allow for some great vantage points during the ceremony.

Speaking as a guest to a wedding reception held at the Perry house, its a great space for these types of events. The multilevel facility offers beautiful views of the ocean from the top floor and cozy garden level space complete with fire pits. Their staff were on top of their game too!
